Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Mansfield

Hired a van last month to go up north. Half way through service warnings comes on! Followed with break pad change!!. I got in touch with the branch they offered to swap if I went back. Then the guy on the phone said if it feels okay to drive, should be fine.By the evening when I tried to clean the windscreen, there was no liquid.After returning I received a call from one of the managers asking about my experience. When I explained everything she said she would do something to compensate and emailed me with an offer of 20% discount only for 3 days van rental @#*!!

Excellent place to hire vehicals. Very competitive and staf is very polite & helpful nothing is too much for these guys they go above & beyond for the customers.

I’m so grateful for all the staff here. It’s not an easy time having to go through the whole ordeal of insurance and car companies when you’ve had a crash, but the staff here were on top of it from the absolute start.As soon as I reported the crash I was called regarding my hire options, they kept up to date on what I needed, with a curtesy reminder of my appointment.They were also super cooperative with giving me a car earlier than what the repair place could fit me in for, so let me leave the car there waiting to be picked up.I can’t thank them enough for taking stress out of a stressful situation.I dealt with Jess and Hannah for the collection and handover and they were FAB!Thank you soo much to all the staff, top customer service.

Wish I could give ZERO stars because the staff are so useless and rude. Won’t accept address even though it’s registered on the GOV SYSTEM. This is your fault on your side and your staff couldn’t care to even help, what a great company who can’t even be bothered to help their customers. Will be putting complaint in to higher board as this is unacceptable and hope the staff who is responsible is spoken to about how they treat customers. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

My wife hired a car and was full of praise for Kam, an employee who supplied an excellent car and patiently explained the controls before she drove off.

The guys at Enterprise Mansfield really couldn't do enough! Was provided with a courtesy car following an accident, and dealt with a few different people here (both on the phone and in person) who were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Was upgraded from a Corsa to an XC40 and couldn't be more grateful - in some ways I'll be sad to give it back! Will happily come back to these guys in future if needed!

Avoid them at all costs!You select a car, wade through their options and pay for a car online. Only AFTER you've paid do they then phone on the day you're due to collect to tell you that they also demand a £200 security deposit! When you complain that there was no mention of that when you booked, you get told that they have nothing to do with the website at the local rental place so they're phoning to make sure we're aware. They know that it's too late to arrange a car through another company anyway. They've already got your hire payment. They know exactly what's going on. Then, when you arrive to pick up the car and you feel like they've taken morenthan enough money off you, they talk about taking a further £1,500 from your bank account in case there's any damage when the car comes back. They'd get the car repaired at the repairer of their choice AND bill you for lost rental income until the car is back on the road. If there was any change left in that £1,500, it will be returned... in 7-8months time! We were told that unless we bought the extra insurance policy, they'd take £1,500! Yet more money on top of the £200 deposit we weren't told about.
