D&D Hill Cafe
Went with a couple of people and we were super excited to eat the food as we had heard good things about it. But as soon as the food got the table, you could smell the cheese and it wasn’t good. Tried giving it the benefit of the doubt but it was still not good. Ate about 1/5 of the beef lasagne before giving up. Arrived happy and left sad, sadly ): workers are lovely but the food is literally stinky, made me feel sick afterThe chips and drinks were so-soThey give the drinks in cute jars so that was cute?

Really nice place. Coffee is really good as is there food. The owner and his staff are very friendly. Most of all I am just happy to have an actually nice place to grab a coffee nearby.

I went here with my sister and young daughter. I had such a perfect time, amazing food, lovely staff and we all left happy and nice and refreshed.Will definitely be returning for lunch again and I need to try those cakes .See you soon

We spent a week in the Dagenham neighborhood for our London vacation and, hands down, the DH Hill Cafe was our go-to place to start the day with a full breakfast.The food is delicious, the service is charming and the establishment is very neat and clean.We returned to Spain very grateful to the entire local staff. Surely, if we return to London, we will visit them again.

Great service and very friendly staff. We only had a quick breakfast roll and sandwich with a cup of tea each, but this was lovely. Bread and rolls were fresh and the bacon and egg were cooked as we asked.

Menu very mis leading.Two pieces of bacon in a long baguette for £4.50.charged for a tea that says £1.70 on the menu and was charge £2.10 because it was a mug. Gave me £1 back when questioned.Would not return.
