Anne is quite simply the most reassuring and calming voice during birth and pregnancy. She made me feel confident in my decisions and choices, and brought amazing energy to my homebirth. Baby arrived before the midwives did, but having Anne there meant I never felt nervous or scared. An amazing birth keeper - I would encourage everyone to go to Anne without hesitation.

My husband and I cannot recommend Anne highly enough. She was our doula for our first child whose now 3 years old and our baby of 6 months.I used to be terrified of giving birth and had been for as long as I can remember, as soon as I contacted Anne she began to work with me and reassure me about my body's capabilities. Both my mum and sister's experiences of birth had been caesareans and I thought I'd be having one too. Thank God I was wrong, Anne came to our house a couple of times in the pregnancy and educated and empowered both myself and my husband.For my first baby I had a natural birth in a midwifery led unit where Anne's support and presence was invaluable. I wanted a home birth for our second baby and she came so quickly there wasn't time to set up the birthing pool, I ended up having her in the bath with my husband and Anne. I was anxious as we were told the midwives weren't going to make it in time. Thankfully Anne arrived 15 minutes before the birth, as soon as Anne arrived I felt peaceful and relaxed knowing I could birth my baby naturally in the bath.We'll always be grateful to Anne for the priceless wisdom she shared and the lasting impact she's had on our family.

I definitely recommend Anne as a doula, she is so considerate and is an absolute pleasure to work with. She's friendly, energetic and makes you feel so so comfortable to be around. From day one I knew Anne was the doula me and my partner wanted to help us birth out baby boy. She helped me to overcome fears and to make my birthing experience the best it could of ever been. Having Anne there during my labour wasn't only incredible but also comforting, she knew exactly what I wanted and made sure I achieved that. After the birth she kept me relaxed whilst getting stitched up and I couldn't be more thankful. When I gave birth to my baby boy she was there by my side and if I'm honest, she felt like my mother because of how comforting she was during my birth. I absolutely adore her work and I hope to have her at the rest of my births. Thank you for everything you did for me and my baby, you're an angel ❤️❤️

My husband and I signed up to complete a 5-week course focused on Hypnobirthing with Anne as she had been highly recommended to us by a few friends.We are both so glad we listened and followed through as we learnt so much as first time parents and were fully informed of our choices and what to expect in terms of labour, pain relief, interventions etc. It was a great 5 weeks, and we looked forward to our Tuesday evening sessions, particularly the relaxing meditation at the end as it was great practice for what lay ahead. After completing the course we continued practising the skills that Anne had taught us, continued to develop our positive mindset so we could hopefully experience the birth as we had planned it. Overall, I had the most incredible birthing experience at the RVH in the Active Birthing Centre, which was hugely impacted by our experience and knowledge gained from Anne. My husband was confident every step of the way and gave me the support I needed throughout, this was as a result of him learning so much from Anne.We both highly recommend hypnobirthing and Anne as her knowledge, skills and tips a long the way led us to having our son in the most beautiful way. An experience we will never forget and look forward to hopefully experiencing again in the future.Thank you, Anne!

My Husband and I needed to find a doula in Northern Ireland and needed to hire her from South Africa before meeting her. As soon as a saw Anne online something in my heart knew she was right for us. She attentively cared for us during our hypnobirthing course online from miles away and we were so excited that we finally got to give her a big hug when we finally arrived in NI to prepare for our homebirth. Anne was such a lovely force to have with us and allowed us and held space for us as we discovered what was the best for our little family in a totally new environment. In the end although I had to transfer to hospital one of the major factors to us being able to still have a natural birth after a 40 hour labor was Anne's unwavering knowledge and strength when Josh and I had to make decisions or felt pressure. Her presence enabled us to hold strong to our belief in ourselves and what we had wanted which was as much as possible an unmedicated natural birth. My baby was born naturally in hospital and she was with us every step of the way. We hope to see you again soon with our beautiful baby girl. Thank you our dear Anne

This was our second time having Anne as our doula. She offered us so much support antenatally which was invaluable. She facilitated a wonderful mother blessing which was so special. Her presence during the birth was calming and reassuring. It is so lovely to have the continuity through pregnancy and into postnatal care and also between pregnancies. Thank you so much Anne, the work you do is invaluable. I couldn’t recommend her care highly enough.

I booked Anne as my postnatal doula for my first baby and liked her so much that I booked her again for my second! My husband and I don’t have any close family living nearby, so Anne’s visits provided invaluable support during our first weeks as new parents and then again as parents of two. She was a calming, judgment-free presence, and I felt so confident leaving her with my little ones while I took a much-needed nap, shower, etc. She was always happy to offer newborn advice when I asked—not to mention all her extra gestures like bringing us food and offering to make us lunch. Don’t hesitate to book Anne as your postnatal doula!

Anne was brilliant and so reassuring. She was with us for both births which were very different, hospital transfer for first and second born before midwives at a home. Without Anne's reassuring presence and faith in the process.. I couldn't have done it. If you want a doula she is so well informed and even does hypnobirthing which was so relaxing especially for my husband who fell asleep a few times. I couldn't thank Anne for supporting me through birth and advocating for me. My husband really benefited from having Anne there as he felt he wasn't all alone when I was labouring.

Anne was our doula for my 2nd pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. She's simply wonderful. I reccomend her to every family expecting a new baby. Working with Anne undoubtedly contributed to me achieving my VBAC. Her calming, confident presence meant that even though I had a hospital transfer from my preferred home birth setting, I was able to stick to my choices while labouring. Anne is a wonderful support to all the family, my husband, older child and wider family.If I'm ever lucky enough to be pregnant again, Anne will be the first to know!
