The food was really good, great value for money! I was in tonight with my family and was served by Sofia, she couldn’t do enough for us! We visit pubs for food frequently and I cannot remember the last time we had someone like Sofia, she is an asset to your pub and brand, thank you!

Old Five Bells
I am writing this review to compliment Greene King for employing Matt, who has exemplary customer service skills. Matt is consistently polite, professional and good humoured, even if he is under pressure. He is a marvellous team player, often assisting his colleagues when they are having trouble navigating the till or dealing with a customer issue. I would expect it is hard to find such a dedicated individual, and I would encourage your company to promote him; he deserves this.

Went for lunch with my husband and 1 year old and had a great time. Staff were super knowledgable about the menu, so helpful and accommodating with my gluten free requests, so kind to our daughter and the food was 10/10. Our daughter loved playing outside in the huge garden. Will definitely be going back!

Food was lovely, reasonably priced and good choice for kids meals also. Only downside was the service was quite slow despite the pub being fairly quiet. Waited 1hr 15 for food after asking where it was, and then an additional 30mins after that for the desserts to come out. A nice experience overall though.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon, the whole family chose to have the roasts - a young waitress (red hair) who was very attentive came over and asked how our food was and we told her it was excellent (hot, tasty and great portion size!) - we were so impressed.. especially considering the price being so reasonable - she then passed the is feedback onto the kitchen because when we ordered desserts the head chef bought them out and thanked us for coming to eat and loved our compliments - which was a lovely touch! As we were leaving the manager thanked us and invited us back for a quiz that evening! We will certainly be back!

Ate here the other day. Food is way better than a few years ago. Menu's got more variety, flavours are nice and food was served quickly. If you haven't been here in a while, it's good!

Katsu chicken didn't even stand next to Katsu chicken. My mate got gammon steak without pineapple which was later served with taste of burned oil and egg that came burned after 10 minutes from serving. Kids pizzas were undercooked. First and last time in this place

Old Five Bells
I recently revisited here after a few years, and I must say, the improvement in their food is truly remarkable. The menu has been elevated to a whole new level, with a creative and diverse selection of dishes. The quality of ingredients and flavours in each dish has significantly improved, leaving a lasting impression. It's clear that the kitchen staff has stepped up their game, and I'm excited to come back and try other menu items. If you haven't been in a while, it's definitely worth another visit to savour the delicious transformation.
