I’ve been to the GVVT a few times and I am never disappointed. I was shown around the collection by the amazing Ed Bonner. Who’s knowledge of the collection is vast and never ending!

What an A-MAZING place for ALL ages! It's becoming more and more popular so I wouldn't wait until you're the last to see these old buses, transport and events. SO much to see and so many special visitor celebrities like Darth Vadar and co :) Just GO and see for your self ....

Great place to go see some old buses and some cool cars. You can also catch the shuttle bus from the town centre and experience a ride in an old bus. Only cost £5 which is used to keep the old buses running.

Visited as part of Glasgow's Doors Open weekend. Very good guided tour booked in advance. We were told lots of interesting facts and stories about many of the exhibits. Also had a full explanation of a sensory bus used with children in Ayrshire. We travelled there by bus from the city centre to Bridgeton Cross- fare was £1.95 each way. Very authentic setting for a bus museum.

Really interesting collection. Some cool vintage buses. Tour guide Mark was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Very relaxed vibe. The sensory bus is an amazing project with separate expert guide. I didn't have time for the gift shop. I think there might be a cafe too. Went during Doors Open Days but they also open up once a month and have a big community day in October, I believe.

Fantastic day out will take about 3h all in with the bus ride in and around Glasgow. the selection of buses getting bigger each year, highlights for us was seeing a delorian in the workshop, searching the bus windows looking for lego figures. The bus ride was brilliant if your a family of 3 get on early and go up the stairs and sit at the very back there a 3 seater perfect.
