We were looking for a removal company at relatively short notice. Alfie was able to come round give a fixed price quote for our removal and followed up with good responsive communication by phone. We went for a packing and removal service. Alfie and his team came round the day before our move and did a swift job of packing up the bulk of our items, including the things we had stored in the loft.On the day of the move the team arrived on time and efficiently packed the rest of the items including two items of large furniture which needed dismantling. They got us out for the moving deadline with minimal stress.Our move was only 5 minutes up the road and they were waiting to go once we got the keys and set about unpacking and reassembling furniture. They listened to where we wanted the items to go and they asked when not sure. Everything was unpacked within a few hours so we could start settling in.All in all I would recommend this company for removals. They do a good job and at good value. No items were broken or lost and the reassembled items are as they were in the old house. Alfie was polite and easy to talk to and always kept us informed.

Alfie and his team were fantastic! We were given 6 days notice (due to the stamp duty deadline) and finding someone was tricky but Alfie was able to help. He was communicative, reasonably priced and so helpful. They arrived early and were so quick and efficient at loading the van. Nothing was too much trouble, they remembered where everything needed to go and they did it all with a smile all day! I would really recommend them

Alfie and his team were very professional in their approach, we moved within St Albans, and ours was a large move. The packing service was professional and the removal itself was done efficiently. The price was competitive and during the 3 days the team were polite and ever obliging to assist and make things comfortable for us while we focussed on home schooling, home working as well as the house move. I will highly recommend this firm.

We managed to book Alfie and his team for a last minute job with just one week’s notice. They moved us from East London to St Albans. All our goods were packed very efficiently and they managed to squeeze our furniture round some of the narrowest corners without damage. All the team were very friendly and made our moving day a very relaxed process. We will definitely be recommending them in future.

My elderly parents have had cause to use St Albans Removals twice in the last few weeks and on both occasions we have found them to be outstanding. Alfie and his team were very accommodating and understanding in assisting with an internal move of furniture and rapid rearranging of a bedroom from upstairs to downstairs when it was required at short notice and also transporting items to the south coast. Both jobs were done quickly, without fuss and Alfie kept in touch with my family and was reassuring throughout at what was already a stressful time. We stumbled across St Albans Removals when they were helping neighbours move. Fantastic find as they were very professional, offered good/competitive pricing and were good fun over our two day move.
