John is very knowledge, quick turnaround repairs at reasonable prices. I have confidence in him unlike the other places I have used. For me John is the 'go to guy' for bicycle repairs.

After taking my MTB wheel to Halfords and waiting one week for a spoke replacement (with no luck I may add), this nice gentleman fixed it in less than a day. I'll definitely approach him for any bike related problems I might have. Thank you.

Dropped my bike in to John a couple of weeks ago as I thought there was a problem with my rear wheel bearings. John looked in to and replaced bearings & spindle together with servicing my bike, all of which at a ridiculously cheap price! John also gave me some great advice on how to look after my bike and other useful tips - I would highly recommend John!

I've used John's services, who runs his business Park Cycles from his very well stocked garage, twice. Once for a service on a Claud Butler MTB I bought off Gumtree, and again when my bike became damaged for the replacement of 2 components. I don't know what the normal rates of bike repairs are, but I would say his charges are reasonable and in line with what other commercial bike shops (Evans, Halfords, etc.) would charge - although please correct me if I'm wrong here. However, the big difference is the service. Nowhere else can you get your bike fixed within a day or two, nor with John's very high level of expertise. He also sells all manner of components (chains, derailleurs, cranks, accessories etc.) at low prices. Provides invoice / receipts on request. Much recommended.

Bought my bike in for the fitting of a new inner tube. I was treated in a polite and courteous manner which is always appreciated and not always a given these days in my experience. I can highly recommend to anybody else in need of repairs too. Thanks very much.

Visited Park cycles today, had a problem with front mechanical disk brake. An old Carerra I bought second hand from roughly 10-15 years ago, so I didn't want to spend a fortune at the big retailersLuckily John got it fixed nice and swiftly in around 20 minutes at a very reasonable rate. Not only that, but we had a nice chat about cycling and life, and about weekly bike rides he hosts.Would 100% recommend going here. Always great to support your local, honourable businesses.~ Imran

John was super helpful tuning and cleaning up an old bike for me to give to a Ukrainian refugee family. Drop off and collection were easy and the bike looked great and worked perfectly again. Highly recommended
