Great little cafe and farm shop including exceptional butchers

Have used Jon Gold butchers a few times for bbq’s and beef wellington. The meat quality has been fantastic, the butchers are all really friendly and helpful in selecting the right cuts of meat.

The free range pork sausages are excellent, everything we have had from this butchers has been excellent quality. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice fresh produce, cakes, veg, meat, eggs, Jam. Not sure about opening times

Tried this butchers for the first time last Saturday, we asked for 5 thick cut filet steaks and one thin cut and I can without a doubt say that this butchers gave us the best service I have ever experienced in any shop (not only a butchers). It was the best steak, in or outside of a restaurant. It was tender, he told us how to prepare them and how long to let them rest to get the most out of the filet. We will be going back and have told everyone we know to go there to buy their meat. If you’re wondering wether or not to go, just go. You won’t regret it!

What a place.Fresh pies and rolls.Nice selection of cheese, fresh bread, milk , fresh veg. Potato's straight from the ground.I love the freezers that have a pick a mix of roast potato's, sweet potato's, has browns Yorkshire and the there is the pastry freezer.I am utterly in love with this place my next to do is have a coffee, what a good selection of meat and fish. Just trust me drive down there have a look you will be impressed.
