Ordered at 17.30 got delivery 2 hours later food was nice but shouldn't have to wait 2 hours from when you ordered a disgrace phoned twice to find out where my order was

Normally brilliant but tonight took nearly 2 hours. Food was cold and smaller portion of crispy duck. Very disappointed tonight.

Absolutely awful food! Was ordered for a birthday, after having a new baby and thought we would treat ourselves. Food arrived on time however, was bland and had a consistency of water. When we called china star they only explained it was due to the fact they prepare the food in the morning!!!! Well the dog had the food and china star had my money for slop.

New in the area, I would like to say thankyou as they were very quick and polite.Ordered a Chinese and pork curry to which to my surprise was a peculiar yellow colour, strange. All the other food, chips, rice, chicken balls ect were really nice just that curry. The sauce was a bit bland but the meats punched through to give you a hint of taste.Dont think I'll reccomend for my friends and family that come over but all in all it wasn't a bad meal!

Went and ordered food clean pleasant and fast.... huge portions and very tasty and still lovely and hot by the time we got back enjoyed

Been a customer for 10 years or more. Best Chinese around have been made sick from other place thought I would never eat fried rice again. Never been disappointed food always great and piping hot. Recommend highly .

Been ordering from China Star for years, tonight we ordered our usual on aŕrival food looked different, however dismissed it as another chef cooking it, part of the order was Chilly Beef my favourite, but this looked pail and tasted of fish, called to complain only to be told that is what we ordered (NOT) chicken balls tasted of fish also, have to be using dirty oil.NEVER AGAIN you just lost another customer

Ordered food for delivery. Told it would be 40 minutes. Had to ring up after an hour and ten minutes to see where the order was. When it turned up it was the consistency of dishwater and didn't taste much better and was genuinely inedible!! When I rang to complain I was told to ask for thicker sauce next time!! Safe to say there won't be a next time.

It's been a while since I last used the China Star. Can't think why as the food was excellent. The Banquet for 4 was huge and every item was was first class
