Samurai Hearts Martial Arts Academy

I went to see Andy at the academy to arrange for him to do some embroidery work for me.Andy was as always very helpful, explained the process fully and helped me choose a letter font to use.My son attended the Samurai Hearts academy for a number of years and learnt a lot during his time training there under Andy and his team.Thanks for all your help both now and in the past, your words of wisdom and a good old catch up - I look forward to picking up my items when they are ready.Highly recommend everything Andy's business has to offer our community.

If first impressions are anything to go by then this was a bad experience.I was passing by and as I’m currently looking for a martial arts class for my young daughter I thought I’d pop in and grab some more information.I knocked on and saw there was a class going on inside where there were young students sat around and two members of staff sat behind the front desk. A gentleman behind the desk saw me, looked up with a raised eyebrow and mouthed the words “there’s a class on”.To which I found dismissive myself.Anyway, if you haven’t the inclination to get up and ask a potential customer if they would like any help with then I don’t see how the business gets on.I shall be taking my custom elsewhere after this experience.

My 4 year old thoroughly enjoys going. Brilliant team there. Very glad I picked samurai harts. Highly recommended

Brilliant place, always clean and staff are so polite, friendly and helpful. My daughter loves going and can't wait for her karate lessons.

Andy and the team are fantastic. Truly inspirational and teaches life skills as much as martial arts. Love them all and such great work ensuring safe practices to cope with Covid. A real friendly family feel always full of laughs and fun for all.

My son started at Samurai hearts after attending a birthday party of one of his school friends. He loved it so much his older sister decided to join a few months later. I love that we can select the days and times that suit us from many options, so it fits in around other commitments.They both also recently attended the Summer Camps held over 4 separate days over the Summer Holidays. They loved this as they got to meet all the Sensi's, different members and try out lots of different skills including weapons. We are looking forward to them attending many more.The atmosphere of everyone in the club is welcoming and as a parent you can watch them during the class from a different room. My son is learning many life skills including commitment, that hard work and consistently will help him achieve a goal. I really can't recommend them enough. It really is like been part of a big family.

Excellent martial arts academy, extremely well run, professional and knowledgeable. From visiting the academy personally I have seen their set up is great, staff helpful and they teach the children a valuable discipline which will last them a lifetime. Certainly a 5 star from me.

Daughter absolutely loves coming here twice a week. The guys are all absolutely smashing. So welcoming and so friendly. Have seen my daughters skill and confidence grown since she started and she's so proud to tell everyone she comes here and what she's learning. Worth every penny.

Great martial arts school - the Senseis are very good with the children, and the whole school is welcoming and friendly.The children can easily see how they are progressing by earning tags for their belts and then by grading to the next belt. There are extra seminars, holiday clubs and workshops offering plenty of variety.I would definitely recommend the school, my two children are very much enjoying their martial arts journey there

We have recently joined this very family oriented business. My family have found everyone here extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment we joined. The business is extremely disability friendly and welcoming to all children and have made us feel part of their family. They welcome us by name and will always have a smile on their face. They go above and beyond with my son knowing exactly how to make him smile never minding that he is bouncy and sometimes bouncy and chatty. They involve every child in their conversations and when you walk through the door you feel as welcome as everyone else. There really isn't anywhere else like here. Thank you for having us!
