After starting my career in care last year with a different company I made the change in March to bluebird care and it was the best move I’ve made.I am always supported with any issues, although there are hardly any!I have been encouraged with any further learning that I have undertaken and there are always opportunities for more learning.I’m so glad I am now a bluebird and cannot wait to continue my career here!

I started with bluebird care back in 2012, and have found them to be a very good company to work for.The team that we have in the office are alway very welcoming, friendly, professional and are very helpful, they listen to any concerns and advise accordingly.We are required to complete our training annually, as well as additional training sessions throughout the year.We have a good rate of pay, paid holiday, paid mileage and travel pay (above Industry standard) and a loyalty bonus.

Bluebird Care is a fantastic place to work. Before meeting with any clients, you are trained in the field and work closely with the recruitment team to ensure both yours and the companies values align. When you have your first shift, it is classed as a 'shadow' shift, so you really are supported every step of the way. The office team are great and always there to help with any questions you may have. The management are understanding and genuinely care about you. The feel of the business is very family orientated and that is what I would want and expect if I had a member of my family being cared for. If you are looking to start a career in care - I would highly recommend Bluebird Care.

Bluebird Care are the most unreliable, uncaring.and unprofessional care agency I have had the misfortune to deal with.Carers are untrained and lack confidentiality. They frequently discuss other clients personnal information with other clients.Clients are not informed if a call is going to be late or cancelled by the office at the last minute due to lack of staff. Clients are expected to still pay for their missed calls.Bluebird expect a client to give 28 days notice, even in an emergency if admitted to hospital and will continue to charge their extortionate rates during this time.Bluebird have a high turnover of staff, including carers, managers and admin. There is low morale with staff. Staff lack respect, empathy and basic care skills for their clients. Managers are rude and aggresive, both in person and over the phone.Chichester has many highly rated care agencies and Bluebird is not one of them.
