As a first time landlord I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from the team at Anthony James. They guided me and supported me through the whole process and found tenants for my property very quickly. The moment I really knew that I had made the right decision going with Anthony James was when the tenancy was over and there were some discrepancies with the condition of the property. This was no fault of Anthony James, unfortunately I just got a bit unlucky with what state the tenants thought the property should be left in at the end of the contract. I’m sure that other companies could have found themselves in a similar situation and cut ties with the landlord and not helped at all given that financially they were not going to benefit from the dispute. Luckily, Margaret from Anthony James was on the case who is incredibly knowledgeable and mega efficient. She collated all the evidence and ensured that we had the best possible chance of settling the dispute with a positive result. I really couldn’t speak more highly of Anthony James and in particular, Margaret.In summary, the agents speedily found a selection of prospective tenants, the rent was paid on time and when there was an issue they helped rectify it - what more could you want!?

Great experience viewing, discussing and ultimately renting a house in Bexley area. The agents were helpful and responsive, communication was easy via either phone or email. They have taken reasonable steps to represent the demands of us (tenant) and the owner (landlord) to each other, and ultimately help us strike a deal. When we needed to discuss non-standard situations (e.g. we wanted to make final decision only after a the Bexley 11+ test results were published), this was agreed and arranged without any obstacles.Highly recommend.

Very bad experience and communication.We've seen a property, we made a generous offer for a rental, and the agent Stephanie just disappeared on us. As we are relocating we had offered 12months advance. After few days I had to call them back and chase them via email, to than been told 4 days later that the landlord had accepted our offer.In the main time another agency came along or another property and they really helped us to get a credit check done without having to pay the 12months advance. So we passed the check and when I told Anthony James agent our decision to for the other property she called me dishonest?What kind of professionalism is this.

Following a very bad experience with another Letting Agent in Welling, I decided to go with Anthony James. I was provided an excellent service and there was no hard sell used. I was given plenty of advice and guidance on the monthly rent to ask for and I was offered the asking price a day after the property was marketed.
