Excellent service to attend to a problem with my Qualcast mower which was cutting out and eventually would not run at all. The manager stripped the carburettor, topped it up with petrol and advised regarding the correct type of fuel for a machine of this age. It had previously been for a service in March, but did not charge for carburettor clean.

Sorry not a good one. Bought a mantis tiller from a friend on our allotment, decided to have a service before I used, i knew it was working the previous summer. Took it in at the start of the lock down 2020 eventually was told that it needed a new carb and paid £159 which I thought was o.k. It was like new when I used it twice but then it had a leaking fuel pipe so took it back to be told it needed a new carb? Eventually I went to pick it up and a pleasant chap started it up to show me it running he tried to put the blades on the ground but they kept turning I didn't realise that it was just ticking over and when I used it it was ticking over too fast and when I gave it revs it kept high revs I put it away for the winter empty of fuel . On trying it now it still ticks over too fast and cuts out when revved. I now use my trusted spade. I paid over £50 for a fuel pipe.

Used them for the first time in August, extremely well stocked and very reasonable with there prices.

The sales staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of choice and top quality, not your usual superstore grade kit. Could do with a slightly later opening hours maybe once a week?

Awful. Dropped me strimmer off 7 months ago, told it would take 1 week, didn’t get it back for 1 month when it was returned with same fault, they recollected sent me the bill, didn’t drop off (for months despite saying they would). Gave up, went in to collect it and found the original fault has not been repaired. 7 months, got nowhere.
