Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Springburn

My brother Syed asked to leave a review on his behalf. ( His words )Absolutely fantastic hassle free service from this branch. All staff super friendly. Had the pleasure of being served by Alexis who was very polite and helpful. Will return to this branch whenever I need to hire again.

All staff at this branch to the girls who served me in person to the lads I spoke to on the phone were all extremely helpful & polite. Very quick & easy service & very understanding of extension times via admiral - (appreciate your patience with dealing with them) Can’t remember the girl’s name with dark hair that dealt with me today (Mon 30th) she came out to inspect the car once I returned it. She was very nice a pleasure to chat to & very professional - overall a great experience with this branch - thank you guys.

Hired a van to collect furniture, the hire was 40 minutes late and I missed out on the deal cos I was to be there for 4pm and I didn't make it on time, I returned the van for 8.30 next morning and told them it was a waste of time and money due to them holding me up for 40 minutes, the van was meant to be from 3pm till 3pm the next day, the manager contacted me offering a refund and I'm still waiting, personally I think he was just trying to avoid a review.ONE DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER I WONT BE BACK

AVOID - I WAS CHARGED EXTRA FOR DAMAGE WHEN THERE WAS NONE !!! I had a vehicle as a courtesy rental through insurance for less than 24 hours whilst mine was recovered and repaired. I drove 32 miles, 16 of which were from the rental location to the drop off location. They called me more than 24 hours after I dropped the car off, and more than 7 hours after they collected it to tell me I had damaged two tyres and they were charging me a £250 excess. They sent through 'evidence' of the damage and it's only visible on very up close up / zoomed in photos so there is no way of knowing they are of the tyres of the car I hired. Even then, the damage is certainly nothing I would notice on a walk around (at 5:30pm in the dark) when accepting a rental car and even if I had noticed the alleged 'damage' I caused, I wouldn't consider it to be an issue when renting a car, particularly given tyres do incur wear and tear and these particular tyres had probably done all 9 thousand miles the car had. I even commented on the walk around that the tyres were different to those on my own (the same make, model and tyre size) and appeared 'budget' when I did the walk around and the branch manager stated that they would be the 'cheapest available'. I didn't think it necessary to outline every scuff, scrape and nick on them - turns out I was wrong! I've raised a complaint with Enterprise so we'll see where that goes but I would avoid hiring from here unless you want to be on the hook for a new set of tyres!!!

Hi,I just needed to get in touch to thank the team at Springburn for helping me get home last night.I was stranded in the Highlands and in conjunction with my breakdown provider Springburn managed to get me to a courtesy car incredibly efficiently which enabled me to get the 500+ mi home that categorically would not otherwise been possible.Many many thanks,Gavin

We had a great experience throughout our rental. The pick up and drop off was quick and smooth and the staff were very kind. Laura, who handled our pickup and drop off, was polite and professional and answered every query we had. Would definitely rent a car here again!

I cannot express enough to take picture of your vehicle prior to taking it away from the premises here. Specifically THE WHEELS AND TIRES. TAKE PICTURES!!!! CLOSE UP PICTURES!!!!Don’t just point out damage to the wheels because they will not look at it further and will not document the damage and then in turn will say you caused damage you didn’t cause.They will claim it’s a “safety” thing and that you are responsible for it. But will let you take the vehicle after they didn’t do a good enough job checking the safety of the vehicle and say it was “your responsibility”.I spoke with the manager and assistant manager and neither of them could care at all or acknowledge the reality of the situation. But will waste your time explaining your situation and then say “sorry there’s nothing we can do”.Zero customer care but will stand by their corporate policy and couldn’t care less about treating their customers with respect.Moral of the story. Don’t trust them when you pick up the vehicle because they’ll act like your best friend and hurry you out of there and then accuse you of causing the utmost minor damage and charge you a small fortune for it. Thank god my credit card offers full insurance coverage and was covered from this scam.Such a shame that this is the representation of enterprise and how customers have been treated.

One of the best car hire companies I used I would highly recommend them. They put Arnold Clark and other to shame. very customer focused and very helpful staff are very helpful and friendly great service though out thanks to jack for help when returning the car.

Booked car night before. Arrived in morning and told no cars so would have to wait until noon and go to another branch. 1 person staffing this branch and a considerable wait to be served. Staff member is obviously pushed to his limits and couldn't call me in the morning to say they didn't have a car, would've saved me a cycle journey in the pouring rain.
