Cycle Pro

I heard about Cycle pro through a club member,who said it's the only person he would trust with his bikes.Since then I have used Pete ever since with my boys and my own three bikes,his service is 1st class.

Had an issue with my bike during a trip to the peaks. I phoned Pete and within a couple of hours he had fixed it. Really nice chap and very helpful, would highly recommend

Called Cycle Pro whilst visiting the area as had a broken spoke whilst on a ride, they fitted me in as an emergency repair, bike spoke replaced and wheel straightened again within an hour. Really appreciate the work done & very reasonable cost. Now off to Lake District to ride, very happy customer from Cornwall, many thanks Pete and Cycle Pro. Highly recommend!

In my view Pete at Cycle Pro is the best in the business round here. His work is impeccable, he's always happy to be flexible to fit in with customer requirements, do work at short notice etc, and it's great to have a proper Campag Pro shop so local to me. I can 100% recommend Pete and Cycle Pro.

I’ve used Cycle Pro for nearly 3 years now, about as long as I have been into road cycling seriously. New to it all, I haven’t thought too much about the standard of service. I realised the other week that whenever I speak with my cycling mates in London and elsewhere in the UK, they’re always unhappy with their local bike shop or mechanic! This got me thinking, besides the fact that in over 3 years I have no complaints or grievances whatsoever, there are just so many little things, on reflection, that sets Cycle Pro apart from the competition:1. Mobile service (they will pick your bike up and drop it off at a time that suits you).2. They take great care of your bike (as if it’s their own)3. Top quality components (I discover top quality components on my bike after every service, it comes as part of the service)4. Always on time - there hasn’t been a single delay picking up or returning my bike.5. Extremely reasonably priced labour (with hardly any mark up on components).They also offer bike box rentals, advice on upgrades, help with bike fitting, and the list just goes on. I now look forward to the biannual check in with Cycle Pro and would strongly recommend them to anyone that wants the hassle taken out of bike maintenance and servicing!

I first started going to cycle pro around four years ago and it has been my go to bike shop ever since. From gear indexing to a full bike build Pete is always happy to help, and the complementary coffee is always a bonus.

Really upset with terrible service here. Rude staff, poor communication. I paid £200 for a bike build that was so poor that I had to take it to another shop to be done properly. Upon inspection, the other shop mechanics asked if I had built the bike myself... not as a compliment! Cycle pro have no pride, passion or professionalism. Take your bike literally anywhere else.

Broke my rear derailleur cable while out on a ride in the peaks. Dropped in to see if the guys here could help me and they very kindly fitted me a new cable and I was ready to go again in a matter of minutes.

I've been using Cycle Pro for more than three years, following a personal recommendation from my physio (who said he wouldn't trust anyone else with his bikes). I've always been delighted with the service I've received, whether it be routine maintenance or larger one-off jobs, such as a replacement wheelset or installing Di2. The service is always quick and efficient, and it's really convenient that Pete will collect my bikes from home and drop them off when he's finished. I would definitely recommend without hesitation.
