This was a nice place to visit and we liked the train ride around the place, we have only given four stars for the following reasons, we do not mind paying the parking cost as this goes to help with the upkeep of the area which was looking good as we walked around, but as a visitor to the area I would recommend anyone to bring a packed lunch unless you have really deep pockets as the food and drink was way too costly, I know that we have been hit with a cost of living crisis and prices have had to go up but £5:95 for a medium sized Baguette with not much filling was shocking. There are some free play areas for the children and some good walks, but the other activities are costly.

So much to do here without spending any money, but if you have some spare them you can take the fun to the next level. There’s a great little steam train for the kids to enjoy, even the old kids! There are also plenty of picnic tables throughout the park, along for a cafe and eatery. You can plan a big day or 2 or just have a stroll around.

Amazing country park. The children’s play trail has SO MANY play ares for them to explore. We didnt go on the train as found it expensive. We took a picnic to have. The cafe looked nice but we didnt go in. Lots of benches and places to sit with picnic.Ice creams were lovely.Car parking was quite expensive at £13.50 - we were there for about 5 hours in total. There were two main play areas; one with sand.Go Ape looked great too but we didnt choose to do it on this visit.Would definitely return. There are no bins around the country park trails so you have to hold on to any rubbish until you are back near the entrance/cafe.Get their early to make sure you can park! We tried a couple of weeks before this visit and the car park was closed as it was full.

I love Moors Valley country park. I have been multiple times and there is so much to do.The facilities are good; toilets, cafe, shop, guide centre, huge play park for both ages, water for dogs, dog wash station, information centre and picnic area. The site is family, dog and disability friendly. The services which charge are; bike hire, go ape, Train. There are lots of trails to walk around and bike around as well as the zog trail. The car park is chargeable but has the option to have a yearly membership which is more cost effective.there are some fantastic gruffolo character sculptures! my kids love those!

The country park is amazing, they have so many play areas for children, my 3 year old had 5 hours of fun here! He loved every single play area and enjoyed riding his bike through the forest. Gruffalo sculptures, zog trail etc are great too!My only complaint is the cafe, the food is extremely expensive and my burger was awful. Recommend taking a picnic if possible.Parking is expensive on weekends however we went on a Wednesday so only had to pay £2 for a whole day of parking so that’s very good!

We did the Halloween trail and just looking out for 'spider shoes' made the walk interesting even for little legs.Great play areas as well. Something for all ages.Food was tasty but not cheap.A great place to get out and about.

This place is the perfect day out with family, kids, couples. There’s pretty much something for everyone who loves the outdoors. There are countless picnic spots all over. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area spending the day here. There is an additional charge for go ape and train ride but do cater for everyone which I love.

So much to do here with walks, rides, the miniature train, golf course, Go Ape, or just sit by the lake and feed the ducks! It's free entry though of course you have to pay to park. Visitor centre and nice cafe on site, plus booth selling ice creams. Toilets very clean. Well worth spending the day here when you're visiting the New Forest.

The fact you only have to pay for parking to stay and play at this massive site is great value for money we took our 4 children here today to do the zog trail and they absolutely loved it we also played at all of the areas on the play trail. So much to do for everyone some things have to be paid for like go ape and the train but all still reasonably priced. Absolutely worth the visit to tire the kids out and the not so little kids. Bring a picnic if you do not wish to buy food on site as there are plenty of picnic tables to sit at.

We went with our 20 month old son and had a great time. We took him on the walk which was great with lots for him to do. I liked the fact that there were things for him to do but also things aimed at older children. We could have spent the whole day here if we had brought a picnic. I would say it was pushchair friendly as well.
