St Peter's Church, Gamston

Nice church

We love this place, all our children were christened here and we can't wait for it to be renovated so we can enjoy it again. Parts of the church date back many hundreds of years and the village is really pretty too.

St Peters has been beautifully renovated with support from the Churches Conservation Trust and is open daily.The church also appears to be used for social activities and it is lovely to see this diversification ensuring the church is loved for years to come.Inside there is a 17th Century chest and 3 effigies, one to a knight.The church furniture dates from the mid-19th century, except for a few 18th century pews, and two 17th century stools.Worth visiting if you enjoy beautiful old churches.
