Faith cafe excellent. Jim's pantry is a good help to those who struggle to buy food due to lack of funds

Lovely church, great atmosphere. I go there for Tom's pantry in the week people are always very nice.

We went to a christening last Sunday, I am a wheelchair user, I was made to feel extremely welcomed and comfortable by the people at church, the access to the church is excellent, thank you all at St James Church for your help

Visited the OUTSIDE of this church with some learners from a SEND school as part of a topic for RE to look at the stain glass windows. We have been previously and been allowed to wander the grounds with no disruption and the people were very nice previously. On this occasion however, we were rudely asked why we were there and told we needed to have made an appointment and demanded that we leave our contact details and they would be in touch as to wether they would 'disregard' this occasion of us looking at the OUTSIDE of the church as though we had done something seriously wrong. The person whom we spoke to was very rude and we were completely unaware that this was a thing as we assumed the space of a church was open to all. Obviously if there had been an event on or wedding/funeral that would be understandable but we were made to feel as though we had done something wrong and then had to take our learners whom did not understand the situation back to the bus causing distress. Really not a great impression for visitors unfortunately.

Great 'Pay as you Feel' cafe every Saturday morning until early afternoon. Plenty of yummy food. Just drop a donation in. There are no prices.The volunteer staff are very welcoming.

Because it has been modernised and has some nice people.
