Seriously impressed with both the haircut by owner Chris, and the Colourist Rachel, who both did an expert job and produced the best colour/cut I've had. It is a nearly 2 hour journey for me to get to this salon but is absolutely worth it. Thoroughly recommend.

Grandchildren have both had haircuts here more than once and they did a very good job. Prices are a bit more expensive but worth it for the quality of cuts.

I'm currently walking the south west coast path and needed to get my hair cut. Obviously I won't be back but they made me feel very welcome. The lady who cut my hair was lovely and very friendly. If I lived locally I would definitely use The Cutting Lounge again

I visited Dartmouth for one of my friends' wedding anniversary and I needed to have my hair done and I also decided quite last minute to book a make-up application, too. The salon has a team of very good professionals, nothing was too much to ask, their manner was impeccable and they delivered a beautiful hair style and a very discreet make up that everybody praised at the party. Lovely salon, really happy with my hair but one of the hairdressers behind me with dark curly hair kept making rude comments about people with hidden disabilities who are unable to wear face coverings as they’re medically exempt and that made me feel uncomfortable.
