Emmaus Bristol

Never really noticed this place before but have frequently just walked past. The ground floor is lovely, full of surprises spent alot longer than usual and bought more than i needed. Upstairs in contrast is more utilitarian, but probably appreciated by a newly arrived student

It is a great place recommended by a passerby on the Day 1 we arrived Bristol, while a gentleman asked us what we are looking for. We are so lucky to have rented a home closed to Emmaus. I am totally impressed by the quality and variety of the second hand furnitures and household goods there. I can always find stuffs that worthy to buy. The staffs are very helpful!

Two days ago I bought a clock here and turned out it was not in working condition so I brought it today to return but the staff there wasn't helpful at all. I was told unless I have a receipt they can't do anything but I wasn't even asked it when I bought it. I told him the staff I bought from must recognize me and the clock ( it's a bit unique one ) so asked him who was working at the time but he didn't even try to check or anything. It was a cheap clock but I didnt mean to buy a rubbish. I was very sad with the attitude.

A great piece of (frankly bonkers) furniture that we will love; what a find! The guys in the shop were helpful and found me a delivery slot that would work for me.The guys arrived exactly on time and carried it in carefully and professionally. Thanks very much!
