Brilliant service from initial phone call to repair. John came on the first visit and was able to source and order new oven door hinges(on a very old model) Returned the following week to fit them and job completed to a very high standard. Thank you very much!

JB domestics was sent to repair my washing machine via my insurance. He turned up and said I need a new door seal. Never returned to carry out the repairs but advised D&G he had and they closed my case. Thank fully CCTVshowed he never returned. Tries message a few times as never seems to answer the phone and never had a response. FRAUD repair claim !!!

Dishwasher repair. Turned up when they said they would, polite , efficient and informative paid what I was quoted and if its not fixed they'll come back for free to fix it which is exactly what you want to hear. Definitely recommend.**Follow up 3 years later. Still using these guys reliable and straight with you and no reason to use anyone else. Always friendly, polite and helpful

I cannot recommend JB Domestics highly enough. On a very busy day John managed to fit in a quick visit to assess the problem and finished the job immediately the required part was delivered. Very professional, not expensive, friendly and extremely conscientious. Thank you and I will definitely use JB Domestics again.

JB Domestics came out to repair our old machine on behalf of Domestic and General the parts were no longer available so our machine was replaced by Hughes but they failed to install our new machine or take away our old one like we paid. Luckily we were able to rely on JB Domestics who were fantastic Ian was very helpful and went above and beyond. We have no objections in using JB Domestics in the future brilliant !

Great service, arrived on time, value for money. Polite and personable customer service over the phone, the guy that fit the new oven was very helpful, even offered to sweep up the mess made from installing oven which is very rare and much appreciated!I had a hard time finding a reliable company, very pleased with JB Domestics Essex LTD, highly recommend!

Booked in via appliance cover. Would give 0 stars if I could. Engineer visited and after what felt like he needed to be persuaded to actually look at the back of the fridge because it’s inbuilt and said it’ll take a while to remove to pull out. Given I wasn’t satisfied with it’s just a regulation issue and insisted it be done, I was then told after further inspection that the fridge compressor was faulty and would need replacing. Advised this would be done within a week once approved by insurer as the parts were in stock. 15 days later I’ve had no update from JB and fridge is still not repaired. After complaining to insurer they later advised the parts are not due till end of July. After being told previously by JB it was in stock and had been ordered. Avoid at all costs even if via insurance, ask for alternatives otherwise you’ll be waiting forever for something which another company could have sorted in a few days. Don’t understand why they can’t just be honest about delays so people can make informed decisions. Terrible customer service.

Contacted under my insurance. The engineer came out said we needed three parts and he'd order them. Won't tell you what he said about delays of new policy. Anyway, a month has passed and we've been told parts not expected until 16 June. They say parts out of stock. Contacted Smeg and they say parts are in stock. Called them back and they say they're not allowed to order from Smeg. Rang Smeg they say that's not true and now I feel they're deliberately lying so avoid at all costs.Feel very let down and lied to. JB, if you have an account with Smeg, then order from them don't just hold off for cheap parts.
