As I drove past the shop today I saw mini Victoria sandwiches winking at me from the shop window. Parked up and purchased two. Omg absolutely delicious. Nice cuppa accompanied the feather light sponge, thick cream and the perfect amount of jam. I'll definitely be back

Big Thank you - Amazing Cottage Loaf catered for my party. The sandwiches were full of filling and freshly made. My 80 guest's commented on the high quality. Delivered to venue if I could I would have given 10 stars - Thank you to all the team at Cottage Loaf.

I went in today to get a baguette on examination they looked burnt so I pressed one to see if it was to hard. It was like a burnt brick, having touched the bread the shop keeper bit my head off as I touched it, fair point so I paid for it and told them what I thought of its burn status. I was spoken to like a child even though I excepted that I had touched it and bought it, it was the way I was treated I did not approve of. So if your happy to be treated like this buying a burnt brick ,carry on shopping there but if not may I suggest Belindas just down the road where I plan to shop from now on.martin h local resident.

Excellent local bakery who produce a huge range of breads, cakes and savouries on the premises. Unusual and constantly changing variety of savoury items and sweet desserts (like cheesecakes) on offer, with vegetarian options as well. Home made Scotch Eggs are always spectacularly good! Sandwiches and rolls made to order and a selection is normally available in the fridge if you need to grab and go. Always very friendly and the perfect place to pop into if you work in the area and need a bite to eat for lunch. Highly recommended.

Good selection of cakes to eat in or take away. Entrance is challenging for wheelchairs with a small step and coconut rug. No toilets but clean public toilets available in nearby car park.

Bread was lovely, cakes looked lovely but both the iced and Belgian buns were a tad dry unfortunately. Staff courteous and efficient.
