Went in twice in our week long stay in Newton Stewart , first time just had a coffee in the front on a rainy Sunday but managed to bag a sunny table in the secret garden on the Friday for a fab croissant and coffee lunch , service from the young staff was friendly and professional and the food was excellent.

A local recommended here, no one in when we went in but soon got other customers. Front of house person was freindly and polite. Cake display looked appealing. Had a cheese scone, which was nice but at the same time strange. Plenty of cheese but not quite a scone, hard to describe. Toffee crunch slice was nice but you need your own teeth as there was a lot of chocolate. Ok prices. Fantastic location on main street.

This was my second visit to Newton Stewart, and my first visit to Brew Ha Ha, having lunch with my dad. Seems a very clean, tidy and well run place. We both ordered fish & chips, and the fish was excellent, with tartar sauce AND they serve decaf tea, a rarity in many cafes. While visiting here, check out the secret garden. Canny little place with no complaints from me.

Lovely to see vegetarian haggis and cheese on the menu as it's one of our favourites and it's rarely option. The panini was delicious. We had a big teapot between us so got 3 cups of tea each, which was great. The tea was good too.I spent ages whilst eating my panini looking at all of the delicious cakes and tray bakes trying to decide what to have. There was almost too much choice! The millionaires brownie was yummy.

Lovely cafe with a very big selection of cakes, all looking yummy. Super friendly staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere and dog friendly. OH is a connoisseur of scones and he was very impressed with the plain one he had with jam and clotted cream. My strawberry tart was humongous and very lush. The specials board looked very interesting so we'll be back to have a try.
