Shocking…We see this lovely (or so we thought) caravan, was given a virtual tour and looked great, we left a £500 deposit which we was told it was non-refundable, upon inspection the motor mover wasn’t working and the heki window was jammed shut, the young chap got on the roof and forced it open, but it had actually been sealed, why???, reluctantly we decided not to have it after contacting a few keen caravanning friends, who basically said don’t touch it.we would hardly drive 3 hours there and 3 hours home if we had no intentions of buying it, £14.5k is a lot of money to spend on something that so obviously had faults which weren’t mentioned at any time during previous conversations. I think it is perfectly reasonable to expect the £500 deposit back, but he is refusing to give it..Date of experience: 22 April 2023

This firm has bought my motorhome from me as it had to be sold for medical reasons. They are very fair and honest. I was really pleased with the way they treated me with so much respect. I would recommend them.

Never ever buy anything from these guys without doing your due diligence.We bought a motorhome from them and it was rotten, the van had failed it mot on welding issues which they said was done but when we had it mot’d and the van failed miserably on the same welding that was on the previous mot failure sheet. The habitation survey they supposedly had done was false, the van had leaks from both sinks and the shower, the water pump failed, the gas heater fell to bits and the fridge had to be fixed as it was also broken. The van didn’t have a gas bottle, a hook up cable or even a water hose.The van wasn’t cleaned before it was sold to us and stunk of smoke and even had diabetes needles in the cupboards.Oh and I’m still waiting for the service history which I was promised would be posted out to me several times.Seriously stay well away from this place, you’ll regret any dealings with these absolute cowboys!!

Brought alpine 2.They done a habitation check all came back good apart from the lifted floor in bathroom that they never told me about but still sold it to me.Go on holiday caravan stinks of gas! Checked the pipes and the seal has disintegrated, so allowing gas to escape. Although habitation check said it was ok?Rear lights did not work had to buy new bulbs.Alarm doesn't have a fob so can’t turn alarm off.Emailed but they stopped replying as soon as they knew they messed up.Had to pay to repair and replace items on the caravan myself. Ignoring my emails will not work.

Just purchased our new caravan from the guys here. All our questions and queries answered straight away and the van was exactly as described on the advert.Thanks to Craig for all your help with this. As per many other comments, no pushy salesmen to deal with, genuine helpful guys. Cheers!

We just bought a beautiful van from these, and Tom was more than happy for us to check every inch of the van to be sure we were extremely satisfied all was sound with it. He insisted on it! Totally disappointed. I bought a lunar caravan back in February this year and they gave it to me with a faulty motor mover or mover remote. Kept trying to get them to fix it and only vain promises. I'm tired of keep calling them and getting the same answer that they will come and sort it out. It must be a standard practice to do that because they never do what they say.I bought a very expensive caravan and they gave it to me faulty and now they don't even care to fix it. All they were interested in was to sell it. I shouldn't have trusted them when was told that everything works but hey lesson learned, I guess I thought they are a serious company but no.

UPDATE 2…..please…just don’t buy from here! TB (Terribly Bad) Motorhomes owner is now trying to correct things…but that’s only because Tom has been alerted to these reviews…and understandably he wants them deleted. He plays a cool game…blaming his team for their failings. The latest in this incompetent saga is that the warranty wasn’t executed on time, so any faults are not covered. Oh yeah and bits were missing when it was collected. Always happy to correct stuff, so stay ‘tuned’.UPDATE! Under no circumstances whatsoever buy from this business…unless you want to go through a very painful process of trying to sort out any faults. The warranty they offer…useless, their promises pointless, their customer service attitude…doesn’t exist. Go to Brayford Leisure.Avoid! We purchased a caravan from TB Motorhomes a few weeks ago…three trips out and three failures of the pump and flushing systems. One solution they deployed was to put in a bigger fuse…which subsequently melted! Very dangerous. They have now washed their hands of us and pointed us to their warranty insurance…which, by the way, has a ceiling of only £500. We are waiting for them to respond and I will happily update this review if we can get a fair resolution. But right now, my advice is to go elsewhere.Update 3 will be tomorrow.…3rd of November 2023. It isn’t good.4th November 2023 UPDATE. The promise by TB (Terribly Bad) Motorhomes (and caravans) to cover the cost of repairs never happened. Understandably TB was keen to get these reviews removed. I will continue to provide monthly updates here, but I would urge anyone thinking of spending money with TB….just don’t!!!! My advice…go to Brayford Leisure.Update 4. 11th December 2023. The promised payment never arrived, despite the owner acknowledging they had failed. This is what you need to expect if you buy from TB (Terribly Bad) Motorhomes. We recently purchased our first touring caravan from this company.We can't fault them.As said in other reviews, no pushy sales personnel, but available if needed either face to face or over the phone to answer questions or provide helpful information.All staff were incredibly helpful when we decided to buy.Nothing was too much trouble.We had the van delivered to site and the delivery service was excellent. Second to none!The van was prepared exceptionally well and all paperwork was as promised.We would have no hesitation in recommending TB Motorhomes.Our experience was hassle free, relaxed, with no fuss!

brought a 2005 swift conqueror 550 great service from them habitation check was done as promised and a 12 month warranty which is rare for a company thanks guys and look forward to px for a new one in the future
