First- class service from Chris. Saved me twice recently. First when I managed to uninstall my printer driver. And last week, when I couldn't access any websites on my laptop. Very quick, very reasonable. Can highly recommend.

Excellent service from CCR Computers. I brought my laptop in to have the screen replaced and it was completed by the next morning. They also cleaned out all the dust from inside.I've had other bits and pieces repaired by CCR and found them really helpful each time. Highly recommended!

CCR Computers are friendly, don't patronise even dim old ladies like me , reassure you as to what they will do without charge,( spend time finding out what the problem is free of charge) then tell you what it will cost to fix it and it's ok to say if it's cheaper to buy a new one I'd rather do that. They fixed my printer, put a new cartridge in for free and the whole lot came to well under £30. I'd recommend - have already recommended them- to anyone whose techy stuff isn't doing what it's supposed to do. Excellent, lovely chap behind the counter.

Last Sunday, I had accidentally splashed about 5-10ml of fizzy drink onto my laptop's keyboard (the glass didn't tip over) and immediately shut it down. I wiped down the keys but when I tried turning it back on, the power light came on but the screen stayed black. So maybe turning it on shorted something out.I took it to CCR Computers repair shop the next day after work and dropped it off along with the charger. They called me the day after, on Tuesday, to pick it up.They took it apart, and used an alcohol solution to clean the spill.They said I was lucky I got it to them so quickly, because if you let it dry the sticky dried fizzy drink can start to corrode the parts. So maybe letting it dry is a myth, at least for anything other than water.They also cleaned out about 5 years of dust from the fans for me, and even taped a strip of some of the dust to the front of the laptop to show me how packed together the dust was! They explained that this was slowing down the processing speed and to prevent a build up in the future I could take it to them every couple of years or so, just like you would get a service done on a car.I tested it at the shop, it powered back up and seems to be working fine now. The space bar appeared to be sticking ever so slightly but after some typing it now seems to have fully recovered.So if you ever spill a drink on your laptop: shut it down, wipe it dry, *don't* try turning it back on, don't leave it to dry. Take it CCR Computers as soon as you can. And maybe listen to your mum and stop drinking so many fizzy drinks...? ;-)
