Bitterly disappointing purchase.No product, no communication, no good!Its been a month! Orders from China arrive quicker.I bought one of their products as a house warming gift... now the ship has sailed really. Only time ive managed to pin someone down via the chat function on the website they said my order was being dispatched tomorrow - which was a lie!Now to try and get my money back..Edit: I have now since gotten my money back and i've seen Matthew Patterson once again peddling his wares on local facebook groups so at least we know he hasn't kicked the bucket

I paid for an experience on the 22nd Jan and had an email of the billing and billing address ie my address. Waited 3 weeks and 2 emails for soemthjng to come back to me. Finally took a Facebook comment on the page for them to get back and say that it had been confirmed and an email confirmation has been sent through. Through private email? Yes! So not from the company email through private email. He questioned as to why I would presume it would be sent through post... I'm sorry to say but it says on my email billing address so imma expect something through my post for my mams bday for this experience that I paid for.Certainly not happy with the email or comments said on the facebook. I apparently have to wait 10 days for my money back... Because that doesn't sound dodgy at all. When it took me 2 seconds for my money to go through.Very disappointed with the communication and manner from this sitatuion.

My friends bought me a candle making experience for my birthday, and I was looking forward to going and trying this out. I booked online and arrived on the day to find the place locked up. I stood outside on a baking hot day for 20 minutes with one other customer there for a candle making experience. We tried to contact someone from Urban Candle club by mobile, as did the helpful man in the unit next door, with no success. We then emailed to ask what was going on. I got a call on my mobile from Matthew Patterson (managing director), within a couple of minutes, apologising but explaining that due to an error the booking wasn’t in his diary and he was not in Newcastle. He promised to refund travel expenses, the fee and re-book the session and said he would contact me the next day (Sunday) or the day after (Monday). I waited until Wednesday and when I had not heard anything I sent an email chasing this up, and providing bank details so he could issue the promised payment. I got a response from Matthew almost immediately advising me that he was on a train to Birmingham and would reply in full when he got to his hotel that night. I can only assume that this train is subject to one hell of a delay, as this was on 3rd July 2019 and I have heard nothing since (despite emailing again on more than one occasion). No refund for the fee, no rescheduled session, no reimbursed travel expenses , no further acknowledgement of this issue…. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are rude, discourteous and completely unprofessional.

It’s the 25/8/19 by mother placed a £40 order on the 10/8/19 - email confirmation received, delivery would be 2-3 working days. Not received a delivery number to track her order and you haven’t responded to any of her emails - are you intending to just steal her money?

So sorry but not surprised to find this company not in business any more. Poor communication, poor delivery times and questionable excuses for delays since the start. Such a shame as the product was the best on the market in my opinion and I have vast experience of wax melts and candles over the years. If Matthew is reading this and has any stock he wants rid of I would be interested!
