Lived in the area for years and this pub was the original reason we moved here a good 15 years ago.Had a lovely refurb, fab food, great atmosphere and a top notch service with Dominique being particularly welcoming and always making sure everyone is very well looked after.

We had our annual 'dog walkers' Christmas meal at the King's Head in Winchmore Hill, 12 of us. We've been to lots of different venues over the 15+ years, but this is by far the best. The food and service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Each starter, mains and desert was announced with the person's name! None of the who's having the soup and then a mad dash to look at a list on our phones. Thanks to the staff and we will be back next year

Lunch was very good, nothing to fault, other than noted that other tables were a little frustrated as there was a shortage of serving staff, and they had to collect their own cutlery from the benches. However, it was relatively busy and the staff were doing their best.Second visit.... Good atmosphere, very busy from 12.30 on. Food very good although the chicken ballotin was not what was expected. Was more like sausage meat stuffing in a broth... rather than a whole portion of chicken so somewhat disappointed. But would not choose it again.

Great place for a Sunday roast. Wife and I haven’t had a roast in a very long time so it was important to that the food was on point. And I’m happy to say this place didn’t let us down.We both ordered the Chicken roast. Food is full of flavour and left a memorable taste.Alina was our waitress. She was very helpful and just felt she always wanted to go the extra mile.

First time here and really enjoyed my roast beef dinner as did the others with me. Good service. Would definitely return. Pictures don't really do the food justice!

Had a really delicious roast dinner here. My husband had the rump of beef and I had the belly pork. The pork crackling was cooked to perfection! The Bloody Mary was also very good. Yummy!

Food is first class, lovely ambience and design too. Manager very nice. Service okay, but I think only because new. Highly recommend. One of the best pubs in the area by far

I hired The Green Room for my Mum's wake.I called into the Kings Head unexpectedly and Christian responded very positively to my request to have a look at the space.Lucy could not have been more helpful in supporting me with making the arrangements regarding setting up the space and ordering the food.On the day, Nell and Lucy created a welcoming space and were very flexible in accommodating our special requests.The food was wonderful - our guests were very complimentary about the quality of the food and particularly their vegan dishes.I highly recommend this space for any celebration and would definitely hire it again.

Am absolutely brilliant experience at the Kings head todayThe food is always flawless.I was met by a very professional and personable employee called Dominique. She was so very jolly, proactive and attentive. She resolved minor issues fast and really created a great vibe in the brasserie.
