Poor experience going for lunch and a shop. Arrived at the first floor cafe to choose a h sandwich from the menu to be told it will be ages before it would be possible to make one up other than the cheese. Walked away and went to the ground floor cafe which was full with people sat at tables with their laptops and no food. So walked away and went elsewhere....

We visited the store today because we need to buy 2 new ovens for our kitchen, we were helped by a sales assistant who said she had been with the company for 28years,and her experience was abundantly clear & invaluable,as she explained the advantage of the more expensive price point. We are waiting a free" delivery in several days and have the usual peace of mind with John Lewis well done."

We visited your Cheadle store and stopped at the Rodd & Gunn counter and bought a blue linen shirt and liked the green shirt also but didn’t have my size, the young lady named Chandon sauced the London store on my behalf to find my size , a couple of days later she rang me to say it had arrived.Excellent customer service from a delightful member of your teamWell done Chandon

Excellent store, great customer service and selection of quality products. I'd give it 5 stars but for the gents toilets situated near the Sainsbury's entrance, not sure if they get cleaned more than once a day, not reflective of the John Lewis reputation, time they were modernised at least cleaned properly.

Dog friendly! Easy free parking close to entrance and staff so incredibly helpful and happy! We went to view furniture and there was lots to look at and try out, staff very knowledgeable.

Incredible service from George on the ladies department in the cheadle store who on hearing me ask another member of staff about evening dresses for a black tie wedding went to the trouble of finding me a selection of evening dresses in the store room after there were none suitable on the various consessions. He is a credit to the store, polite friendly and Professional.Also to the ladies in the changing room who helped me into the dresses and again where incredibly kind professional and very help. Thank you to all.Ruby.

Ordered a laptop online and collected from the store. Good price and nice to be able to speak to knowledgeable sales people. Reassuring to be able to return it too, although all working fine so far. Very nice store to wander around for inspiration - antidote to online shopping!

Recently visited the store on looking for a pram, we had the pleasure of being greeted by the lovely Sarah, she really helped us out, booked us in for an appointment and explained everything in detail, very lovely and friendly and we purchased the pram straight after this appointment, highly recommend going in and getting some advice from the lovely team, thank you Sarah

I love John Lewis. It’s just like stores were, when I was growing up, in the 70’s. We used to meet my Nana at Lewis’s in Manchester.JL is a little luxury quite local to where I live, well 15 minute drive. I pop in for a look round and always buy something. Everyone is helpful and it’s always a pleasant experience.
