The food was excellent, we followed the 7 course tasting menu which didn't disappoint!! Beautifully prepared and presented, and portions are adequate for a nice diner. Good selection of wine.Small restaurant, calm, friendly owner and service. No parking, so we had to drive further down the road to find a place. Thank you for this nice evening.

Such a lovely experience - the food kept coming and coming. We did the 7 course taster but had more food than seven dishes. Was so delicious and so well presented, really beautiful and very different. Such interesting dishes - full of surprises. Great service and lovely environment. Wine was fantastic too.

Best. Meal. Ever. Husband-and-wife team Marcus and Kate richly deserve their Michelin Star at 5 North Street. Every dish is beautifully presented and every mouthful is full of flavour.Kate’s friendly front-of-house welcome and excellent service completed our very enjoyable evening. Doggy friendly too!We will return!

Superb meal from start to finish.We had some substantial dietary requirements and Kate and her husband dealt with them as if they were no fuss at all- that is what I call excellent customer service.The taster menu is brilliant value for money and my family were delighted with every course.These hard working pair of lovely individuals deserve to succeed and prosper and they are a prime example why we should keep supporting local businesses.Keep up the excellent work Kate and husband, 5 North street is definitely a place I will be returning to!

Superb meal, definitely on par with or exceeding 1-star (and some 2-star) Michelin-starred restaurants. The food is exceedingly good, creative, and perfectly executed. We were scraping sauces and very near licking the plates clean. Definitely an underrated and understated but outrageously good meal. You don’t get the bells and whistles of some fine dining restaurants in terms of decor or plates coming at exactly the same time, but as a trade off you get truly phenomenal food, hot, and just beautifully done in a comfortable, cozy environment. The most outstanding meal of our trip — hands down.

This was the third time we've eaten at 5 North Street and it never disappoints. Lovely front of house and delicious, seasonal food with many exquisite touches. Great atmosphere, nice and relaxed and perfect for any special occasion. We'll be back again!

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in a beautiful setting, look no further than 5 North Street. From start to finish, every aspect of our evening was exceptional.The food was incredible and we were blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the skillful cooking techniques. Every dish left us wanting more.But it's not just the food that sets this restaurant apart. The service was truly outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Kate had excellent recommendations, and he helped us pair our dishes with the perfect wine.Finally, the ambiance of the restaurant is simply lovely. The decor is elegant and sophisticated, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We felt completely at home while also feeling pampered and indulged.All in all, we couldn't recommend 5 North Street highly enough. This is the kind of restaurant that you'll be talking about for weeks, and we can't wait to come back again soon.
