If I could give 6 stars I could. This place is a real gem just outside of St Monans. The food is unique and delicious, freshly prepared and beautiful. Excellent customer service - the staff are really personable and friendly. You can tell they’re really passionate about what they do. On top of all that, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. I was impressed with the coffee too, and will be buying some of their fresh coffee beans for my own use at home.

Just popped in for a takeaway bake for the beach, opted for the locally sourced focaccia with sausage and green tomatoes, very yummy my toddler ate more than I got the chance too. Lady who served us was lovely and my son enjoyed the music. We will be back to sit in next time and grab a coffee.

This is an excellent cafe and bakery situated within the nicely converted Bowhouse farm buildings, that run a monthly farmers market. Really tasty bakes, pasties and tarts. A lovely place to relax, and enjoy the strong and smooth coffee. Well worth seeking out.

Great spot just a little bit inland from the coastal path. We didn’t eat, but had a flat white in a spot of sunshine in the courtyard. In the same complex, there’s some interesting food and beer units.

Baern offers an small but inspired selection of dishes. Emphasis on fresh/ seasonal. Always sensible to leave room for one of their sweets, even to take away.The cafe itself looks very cool and has a relaxing vibe. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

BAERN is a very, very special place and the consideration, love and respect that the team show their ingredients result in plates of food that are second to none in terms of quality, creativity, and flavour. And the bread is like no other. Just heartachingly lovely. Such a warm, friendly team, too. I've been several times, and it has never been anything other than tremendous.
