The room was clean. the location is very good but the best part is the staff, the gentleman who booked and greeted us was very helpful, informative and friendly. We were originally going to take our cat with us but the journey from London to Plymouth is too long, but he was very helpful as to how we can bring the cat and what to do with him in the hotel. I never got his name but Thank you.

Lovely family run business. The staff were so warm and welcoming. Made us feel at home. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms clean and tidy. 5* from us. Will stay again. ❤️

Stayed here last night (30/04/2022) and loved it.The staff were friendly, helpful and always greeted you with a smile.We stayed in room 13 and the room was great, clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable and the shower wow the pressure was amazing.Breakfast was also very good, great choice and food cooked very well.Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.Thank you.

I went on a scaffolding course and my company paid for me to stay here for 2 weeks and after just 2 days I'd had enough. The room was a box, the food was disgusting and I completely felt unsafe there. I ordered fried eggs and bacon for breakfast and when they sent it out it still had egg shells in it so sent it back and the next plate they sent the eggs were dry and rubbery like it had been sat there all morning and the bacon was very over done. They have cleaners tidy our rooms and yet they missed the world's biggest spider crawling around in there. The staff were all very nice didn't have a problem with them but I just couldn't handle another night there so contacted my company asking them to get me a different hotel which they did and I'm much happier here. But the worst part about it all was when I checked out and the manager spoke to me and asked what my problem was and when I explained it all he didn't apologise nor was he understanding about anything he just answered back to everything and said people are always happy here I don't know what you're talking about. And when I said I don't feel safe here he had the cheek to say well when you go to work and get up on that scaffold don't complain that you're not safe up there. That was really disrespectful and the main reason I had to give a bad review, no matter how well you run a business and how many people are happy there will always be customers from time to time that will complain and as a manager you should always have the respect to listen to these complaints and accept them, NOT be rude and offensive.

Checked in at 3pm, staff are super friendly. Really does feel like a home from home. Rooms are clean and tidy. Perfect little place to stay by the sea. Super duper dog friendly aswell!

Central location and transport links are meters from the main entrance.The staff are friendly, welcoming and will accommodate if you want specific options like a double bed, writing table/ desk or remove excess furniture as you want.Breakfast was always on point and many options are available even home cooked pastries.Many USB connections on plugs so you don't have to use a multi plug bank.Highly recommended and pet friendly

We stayed here overnight on the 26th of March as we were visiting Plymouth University. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and really went above and beyond with every aspect of our stay. The twin room had comfortable beds with all the amenities that we required. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.We would definitely recommend staying here. Hope to stay again.

Stayed just one night for a show at Pavilions. Twin room (№28) with a double bed and a single. Room was spotless and contained a TV, kettle (& tea & coffee), plenty of coat hangers, and toiletries in the en‐suite shower room. Didn't find a hair dryer, but I'm sure the absolutely wonderful staff would offer one. The room was really warm, which was great as it was brass monkeys outside. One negative is the double bed leaves little room to move around, but then again, I am a Cornish bird on the 'more comfortable' side. Breakfast was worth the room fee alone. Yoghurts, cerals, pastries and toast all on buffet service. Hot breakfasts on table service, with a varied menu. This place is a gem. The staff are a cut above. They even answered the phone in 2 rings at stupid-o-clock because I couldn't work the kettle - turns out that there was nothing wrong with it, and I'm an idiot. My apologies. I will definitely visit again and would heartily recommend.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Indeed one walking to an appointment I was stopped by a down pour of rain. The owner said not to worry his wife would drop me off on the school run so I could make my meeting in time. Then the made me a free cup of coffee while I waited. I’ve never experienced anything like that before in a hotel. Thank you.
