I attended Lisa's ' Life Skills for Puppies course this week and would highly recommend it . Her communication skills are great in terms of listening to your questions and concerns as well as teaching the owners and their dogs. The teaching methods are all positive reward based and the teaching environment is a lovely spacious hall that allows ample space for the more nervous dogs. The classes are fun

We initially contacted Lisa from Dogmestix as we were struggling with some aggressive behaviour from our dog towards family, and needed some help with lead training after trying different things ourselves with no success. Lisa helped us to understand our dog's triggers and behaviour and put a plan in place for training.We have made huge strides by working through this training plan, we have had no aggressive episodes and his lead walking is 10x better than it was before (sometimes he struts like he is at Crufts).Since then, we struggled when bringing a new baby home, as our dog was very anxious and would bark non stop when our daughter made any noise. We contacted Lisa who helped us over zoom with a plan to desensitise. Within a matter of weeks we made huge progress, going from having them in separate rooms to comfortably having them both relaxing next to each other in the same room.Can't thank Lisa enough for helping us with some difficult behaviour during very stressful times. Now we get to enjoy our pooch again!

Lisa is an exceptional dog trainer that uses kind and fair training techniques, always keeping the welfare and emotions of dogs in mind. She is also studying a degree in canine behaviour and training, so has all the modern, up to date and scientific knowledge needed in order to truly understand dogs.
