Me and the wifey went to the shop, and although we didn't have a reservation we managed to get a table in 5 minutes. I gotta say that, the food was phenomenal, absolutely tasty! We've been missing the noodles ever since, I got the Heavy sauce Noodles with Beef Brisket and wifey got the Light Sauce Noodles and both were soooo good. The noodles had a chewy texture and the broth was breathtaking. Can't wait to go again!

Visited the BAO noodle shop after going to a couple of the other BAO branches in London. Very modern, light decor which was nice but will say that the tables were pretty small and close together. Service was good and very quick, and we didn’t need to make a reservation. The food was decent, but my main issue was that unfortunately the portions were really small (considering the price) and so you need to order a lot to feel full! Understandable for small things like the baos, but for noodle dishes would expect a full sized bowl.

The food at BAO is pretty good, we highly enjoyed the Prawn Bao and the raw beef clean broth noodle. The pork belly rice was a bit small for the price and lack of sauce, and the stronger broth beef noodles just lacked a bit of salt/soy. But otherwise still a very nice lunch, a bit pricey but worth checking it out.

LOVEEE all the Bao restaurants! ❤️The food is always good!I tried their iced lemon foam drink which tasted really nice but small in size, as most of the drink was foam. I really really enjoy the bounciness of their noodles - it's soo good!! I've been here twice now, literally to taste both noodle dishes and I have to say the clearer broth is soo much better than the spicy one. The taste is more complimentary to the components (raw beef & noodles), the spicy one was a bit salty, not that spicy for us. Personally, I think the side dishes are a bit pricey for the portion size but you have to take into account their location, which is in such a popular place so I guess it makes sense.

the food here is good, but overhyped and overpriced for the small portion sizes. got the minced tofu noodles and loved the consistency of the noodles, and the dish was surprisingly spicy. also got the dumplings. favourite dish was the horlick fried ice cream bao- definitely recommend. but for the tiny portions the price is too much and the service was very flaky as we constantly had to look around and wave over a waiter to order or get the bill, so it was slightly slow.

The classic boa buns are so good, and the Noodles delicious! We loved the minimalistic decor of the restaurant.

Tasteful decor, good food. Our waitress made suggestions on how much to order of each which was more than enough. I came in starving and wasn’t able to finish everything.Clearly labelled vegan options and our waitress was helpful in explaining what was vegan and was able to make one of the baos vegan by swapping the bun for a sesame one (would suggest they make this a permanent offering rather than them having to make the change per order but no qualms as is). The vegan food was all very good & not just ticking the box for having the option.Having ordered the number of dishes the waitress suggested it came to about £42pp for two people for dinner.

I don't believe it's authentic Taiwanese cuisine. After consuming all of these dishes, my friends and I experienced stomachaches.(He had diarrhea for three days) The eel cucumber salad had a strong fishy odor, the tofu noodles were overly salty, undercooked, and chewy, and they were not served warm. I wouldn't recommend the noodles, but the bao was decent, and the bread was quite soft.

Pretty authentic taiwanese dishes and options, it’s on the more expensive side but people come here probably for the atmosphere too. Nicely decorated with modern, chic, simple but clean look, the restaurant is divided into 2 floors. The top floors has both indoor and outdoor seats while downstairs looks like there is a karaoke’s and a private room for large room.We need more of these type of store all over Europe and USA, because there are way more delicious taiwanese dish that has not yet been introduced to the world, and opportunities are endless
