Best mechanic I have used! I moved to Ely 10 years ago and needed a mechanic I called Kevin a bit worried as he was new to me but I must say out of all my years of motoring he is the best I have ever used!! Over the years of knowing him he is more now like a mate easy to speak and work with as he always gives you it straight and charges you for what is needed he won't replace something or rip you off which what makes a good garage. I have had many cars from Audi, BMW, Mustangs, Fords you name it I've had it and he has never failed to repair it from a simple service to a few engine rebuilds and head gaskets, I would never go anywhere else even though he is 27 miles from me! If you need something doing call him it shows he is good as sometimes he may not answer but he will always get back too you, Thanks Kevin for all your hard work and the last repair, Oh Kev a few memories from the past cars. Really good customer service and very honest !!My Mitsubishi rear wheels drums got seized and couldn’t move my car at all, so Kevin help us to get back on the road, he travelled from bury to Haverhill on 31st of December 6 pm, and we needed the car to go london! Thanks to him we made it. We will always recommend him o family and friends!

I took my Audi to KMAC because I wanted an Audi specialist in Bury and did not want to pay main dealer prices. They are very friendly and do quality work at a much better price than main dealer. I saved hundreds of pounds on replacing the rear suspension. They are very busy so you do need to be able to leave your car with them but it is worth the wait. Excellent customer service, I was kept updated with progress and expected costs.

Broke down away from home,Thankfully came across kevin and his garage, great service/price. Able to fix my car within a few days. Great communication and work throughout.Would highly recommend this business

£280 to find out the issue was what I'd said it was in the first place.Mixed feelings here - I showed up at the agreed time and no one was there so waited for 20 minutes before dropping the key through the letterbox, not a huge issue but was my first concern. It was hard to get hold of anyone during their posted opening times and it was another 4 days before I heard back - I'd been told by the MOT garage that the issue with my wiper jet was probably a faulty switch and it ended up taking KMAC 8 hours to figure out that it was the switch and I was charged £280 for the time spent diagnosing what I'd already been told it was. Felt quite ripped off price wise but I cannot fault the work, hence the 2 stars still.

While I’ve been in Bury St Edmunds for the 3 years that I have, I’ve used KMAC. I had my catalytic converter stolen by thieves and they replaced it for and repaired the exhaust pipe that was damaged during the theft. They’ve done every one of my MOTs and all the repairs that go along with them for a good price and fair timing. Kevin the owner has always been a pleasure to do business with, great with responding; if he doesn’t pick up he’s probably busy with a customer in the shop. My girlfriend was quoted £1,500 for some damage to the body of her car but Kevin fixed it for £600. Seriously, amazing work.

Kev is the go-to guy for your automotive needs. His knowledge is god like. His attention to detail is outstanding, I couldn’t recommend someone more highly in bury st Edmunds keep it going Kev!! :)

This guy told me that he. Could do the ECU unit on my daughters VW beetle and that he would call me back with prices etcAfter two days of leaving messages and texting Kevin , he didn’t have the decency to contact me which left my daughter unable to drive to workI have now hired a professional Mecanic

Took my car to Kevin, as needed component protection added to a new radar and had some problems with coding. He was able to fit me in to have the coding done. Always busy, but that says one thing about a garage good reputation.

I have been to Kevin with 2 different vehicles now, the first was my focus in which he fixed an airbag fault for me, he spent 4 or so hours on it from daylight to darkness to ensure it was fixed as it had an mot the following day..Fantastic...Then yesterday dropped my Citroën off to him to analyse it to see what was wrong? Then today our it was fixed and running better than it was when we bought it 6 wks or so ago..driving like a train now...Brilliant, we could not be more pleased....Fabulous value for money too.
