Cooling Castle Barn

What a beautiful, romantic, historic and somewhat rustic place to have a wedding! The wedding service was lovely, the staff were great, the food was very good, and the on-site accommodations spacious and comfortable!

My son and daughter in law held their wedding at the castle on Monday it was beautiful. The staff couldn't of been any more helpful, food was amazing. A most amazing day thank you

We had an amazing day as guests at a wedding. It was very well organised, bar was cheaper than my local pub! Plenty of space for the kid's to run around and the adults to socialise.

I'm a wedding photographer and have covered Cooling Castle Barn a number of times. It's one of my favourites, with a beautiful rustic interior, stunning grounds and friendly staff. Brilliant wedding venue.

I cannot recommend Cooling Castle Barn more highly as a wedding venue, following my daughter’s wedding two weeks ago. There is nothing I could fault.The whole team’s calmness, warmth, humour and professionalism were so appreciated and made for the most magical wedding.From the service to the food to the MC and the DJ - everything and everyone was exceptional. And any stress or worry was completely lifted off our shoulders, so everyone could just be totally wrapped up in the moment and the joy of the day.Despite holding weddings every day of the week, you made us all feel like our wedding was the most important and special one that you have ever hosted. And we can never thank you enough for that care and devotion to our day.

Beautiful venue for our daughter's birthday wedding on 8th Oct 2023However menu chosen was not what was servedAnd the food was very mediocre. This was very disappointing as for the money spent we felt food should of been star quality.Also 2 staff members were extremely rude to some of our family when only asked questions.Perhaps you should get staff on a customer service course as I work on customer service myself and would not be speaking to guests at wedding parties like we were spoken too.

Beautiful venue for a friend's wedding, gorgeous rooms and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The bridal suite where we got ready was excellent as were the snacks brought for us mid morning. The location and gardens are lovely and the wedding breakfast meal was superb.

We had our wedding at CCB this week and were absolutely thrilled with everything from start to finish. The communication from the minute we booked our date has been amazing, with the online planner being a god-send, you can make all your choices online and get a response from the team within a few hours with any queries.The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, the whole place was spotless and the food was top restaurant quality. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.We had so much included in our wedding package that we really didn't need to worry about much at all, and on the day our duty manager Becky and night manager Lauren were so professional, unflappable and approachable.Thank you so much for giving us the time of our lives xx
