Quite small cramp room. But am single guest. Music was loud not good for someone who needs to get up early. Staff was friendly. Bed comfy room old and worn . OK for city stay

Excellent pub in Bury St. Edmunds nice, comfortable rooms, can't fault it Shame the Woke Brigade got Weak Greene King to change the traditional name of the pub from The Black Boy to a less offensive" Westgate. But hey

The room an breakfast was not worth £110.The breakfast on a very cold plate and we were not ask what we wonted no choice or option.

This is a nice pub to go to before painting the town red lol staff we're friendly not badly priced for a drink I did see a little car park out the back

£55 for a single room for the night with a nice breakfast included.. The room was clean and perfectly adequate.Needed it for a night out in Bury St Edmunds. Very central to all the pubs and high street. The Landlord was at the premises as I pulled up and he kindly showed me the parking area. Couldn't fault it. Very impressed for the money. Landlord helpful and kind..

Nice back garden area with cover if you want to smoke. Pool table 70p a go thought that was a bit much for pool. They have a beautiful dog that chilling in the pub as well. Not the best pub in Bury St Edmunds but not the worst ever.
