Went in for 1 goldfish and was asked how big our tank was, now that’s all well and good but when you’re standing in front of small tanks with hundred of fish in each one it’s a joke! Also sell cages that are far too small for guinea pigs and rabbits and the treats they sell for rabbits and guinea pigs have SEEDS in them!! Rabbits and guinea pigs DON’T eat seeds but they still sell them as ‘recommended’ for these animals!!!!

Just had advice from Megan for our 1 tr old lab Munro , who is really bad at pulling and also some nutrition advice ....she took time to explain and train us to help him ...she is absolutely awesome....thank you .

Just popped in for a wander round for some puppy stuff….spoke to Liam the store manager, got some very knowledgeable advice and advised to become a pets at home VIP member on the app for some great discounts and vouchers. Great service !!

I will never shop thier again, I was told so many different things, when trying to find a first pet for a child with additional needs 1 girl recommended a cage the other told me it wasn't suitable, so we went for the correct pen to be told we hadn't made our mind up and refused to sell me a geinue pig I am furious maybe the staff need to communicate better instead of treating customers like rubbish!!!

Went to get a guinea pig and the lady we with the blond hair was horrible to my mother as we have neutered males and we wanted a female to keep our other female company witch would of bought two but she refused and was very ignorant and aggressive she shouldn’t of been working we anyone especially animals she should be fired and have someone who knows how to deal with people i wouldn’t buy anything from the galashiels branch again we now go to edinburgh were the staff as so nice and not aggressive or rude

Took my son 8 & daughter 6 to purchase cold water fish for a tank their big brother gave them, the staff were very helpful and we got a lion head gold fish (Goldie) & Black Moore (Jack Sparrow) my children were very happy with their purchase.
