Kings Arms
Only went for drinks and not food.Nice outdoor area, plenty of seating.Good atmosphere indoors too.Ladies toilets were disappointing, 2 out of 3 out of order, no toilet paper in the 1 working and hand dryer didn't work.

Great dog friendly pub, with excellent food, the staff were excellent attentive and helpful, the pub quiz on the Tuesday was great fun and very well run. The beer garden is also excellent.Over all a great experience well worth s visit.

Had a meal with 4 friends here and honestly wished we hadn’t, it was a very quiet Monday and it took over 40 minutes to serve the food, the dishes were hit and miss, the chicken wings were worth it, but the BBQ chicken wasn’t, for the price charged the small tough chicken breast and flavourless bacon swamped in bbq sauce was not worth the price and when my friend queried the portion size had a reply of “ah, it’s just one of those things!” Which isn’t really a helpful answer when you’re not happy with the food. The feast with friends was nice, but not really enough to satisfy 2 as a sharing platter as advertised unfortunately.It’s a nice pub, well lit, clean, quiet easy listening music and friendly staff, but the food let it down.

When planning an overnight stay between jobs I found this little gem of a place on booking dot com.Firstly the room, i stayed in no.7, part of the new building. It was decorated and furnished to an amazingly high standard, and was so comfortable. One of the reasons I chose this place was for the desk, I had 2 hours work at my laptop to complete before morning.I had dinner at the restaurant, amazing pub food, fresh and homemade. The Adnams beer was kept well too.Breakfast was equally as good as the dinner, and it arrived pretty quick after ordering.Overall I hope to go back if work ever comes in over in the East.

Nice pub - DONT ORDER FOOD!The pub is nice but the food is horrible price for the servings and wait time. We waited over 30 mins for a simple side and then it turned up with a HAIR on the plate. No one at our table has that much of short hair.

We popped in for a late lunch and were not disappointed. We had veggie chicken wings, Korean burger and hunter's chicken. All very tasty, happy with our meal.

I visited the Kings Arms earlier this evening and was greeted by friendly faces from all the staff members, I was served by a young girl named Isobel who could not have been nicer to me and helped me out with some suggestions on what drinks to have. Would definitely recommend and definitely will come again.

I’ve been to the kings arms a couple times now both for drinks and also for food. The staff are very welcoming and always take the time to recommend different drinks and dishes when I’ve been unsure what to order.The food itself is great and Is always leaving me wanting to come back.
