My family have been members since the pandemic and we have really enjoyed playing on the 8 well maintained courts for a very reasonable cost, especially for the family memberships. The people are extremely friendly and the leagues, tournaments and social play allows new and old members to meet lots of people who are happy to bring new members into their groups. I give it a strong recommendation.

Great Sports club. Home of one of the oldest and friendliest Bowls and Tennis clubs in Hertfordshire.The excellent facilities include an attractive large modern clubhouse with a relaxing bar area providing well kept real ales.

A welcoming, sociable and friendly club - well equipped and well worth the membership fee. There are plenty of opportunities for both social and competitive tennis and a very good coaching provision.I have been a member at Townsend for over 20 years and would like to still be involved with the club in another 20 years. Highly recommend to anyone who loves tennis.
