loved it ,had some not very nice experiences the last time i was here ,but hopefully with my new dog (riggs) it will be different

Very kind staff. Warm welcome and plenty of fuss for my pooch who loves that. The vets are very kind and helpful and I’ve always been satisfied with the advice given.

This Veterinary are the Dog's @##@#s! All joking aside, they really are fantastic. We have been using Avon Lodge for half of Lulu's life, She's a Jack Russell of 13.5 yrsWe moved home last year, miles out of the vicinity to Combe Dingle, we don't own a car, can't afford one( pet insurance costs a bomb!), so we transferred Lulu to the very well known local Vets situated walking distance from our new address. As soon as we did we realised the quality of service and care of what we were used to was nowhere near as it is at Avon Lodge. So we transferred back to Avon Lodge. Even though we have a lengthy journey it is more than worth it. We know we are in safe hands.Avon Lodge exudes quality in every department from the receptionists, nurses and vets. They take great pride in what they do and they really care for Your Pet and You.Unlike others that can be named, that are just in it for the money.Avon Lodge are a modern day version of all creatures great and small". Last Saturday morning, we called as our cat had some difficulty breathing and she was able to be seen promptly the same day. Unfortunately we found out it was very serious and we were explained our options for her, as well as the risks to keep our expectations realistic. We decided to try save her and they were able to perform an operation quickly. She was then transferred to an out of hours practice to be monitored. Sadly, that night we had to say goodbye to our little furball. Myself and my husband are very grateful for all the effort Avon Lodge and Vets Now put into saving our cat and for also being so compassionate when it was bad news. Thanks so much.

Very friendly staff and always happy to help. Our dog Cyrus is always so nervous of his visits but they will always try and interact with him and give him treat’s which he loves ❤️ Would recommend this practice to anyone.

We went in last week for our puppy's vaccinations. Vet Charlotte was lovely, professional and patient. Our puppy was calm and happy when he was given the vaccine. Would definitely recommend.

The team at Avon Lodge provides excellent care. I have been going there for about four years with my dog who is very reactive and particularly scared of being examined even for basic care. They have a top notch protocol in place to make any treatment go as smoothly as possible for him (and everyone involved)! The follow up is very thorough and the team is kind and patient. 100% recommend!

Just lovely, lovely people. Professional and thorough, but also warm and friendly. My dog LOVES Avon Lodge, he tries to take me in there every time we walk past on the way to the park.

These vets are lovely, I trust them to do the best for my beloved pets. Would recommend.
