Rika ACE CIC (Rika Bushcraft)

My 4 boys attend a HE session here every week. We have joined Rika since about a year now. My boys just love it!! They feel safe, understood and appreciated.Thank you Rika for the amazing job that you do. This is a good investment for our family.

We absolutely love this place. Both Kai and Claire are fabulous with the kids and their knowledge for Bushcraft is outstanding. I absolutely love my coffee by the fire on a weekly basis when taking my son. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to try Bushcraft.

Me and my family have been going to Rika Bushcraft since last year now. We have been massively impressed with the knowledge and professionalism that is shown by Kai and Clare. They go over and above to make everyone feel included and I have watched them bring people out of their shell and get involved.Each sesson we have been to has been top quality, fun, interesting, interactive, affordable!Its set in such a nice place and is luckily quite central to Nottinghamshire too.I wish them all the luck in their future as I can see them going far. Can't wait for our next event with them.

Fantastic birthday party here today for my 9 year old Henri. We can't recommend this place enough for fun, engaging outdoor activity in a lovely safe environment. Clare & Kai are brilliant at what they do & we'll be seeing them very soon at one of their holiday clubs. Thank you for today guys, you've helped make some amazing memories. xxx

Rika has been one of the best children/young peoples activities I’ve come across. They run home education settings which my children attend weekly, they also run sessions for adults and families. The staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating and adaptable and as my son has disabilities this has been invaluable and again one of few providers I’ve found that have gone above and beyond to be inclusive. Could not recommend this highly enough.

The team at Rika bushcraft are very friendly, fully inclusive, understanding and approachable.They make sure that everyone who is attending a session has fun whilst learning .All the team is first aid Qualified and have covid measures in place. Our family really enjoy their sessions.

My children go here to the home education group.One on a Wednesday, one on a Thursday.The price is brilliant. £10 for 2&1/2 hours.We have been to the burns day today and enjoyed it massively.We came away with a bag and a carved Thistle which we made.We enjoyed bread made on the fire too.Kyle and Claire are amazing with the kids and adults .Highly recommended :)

We have just spent the past 3 days at the campsite. Kai and Clare were amazing, supportive, friendly and very welcoming. This was our second trip here and will be back again. We learnt bushcraft skills, spoon carving, archery and even shot some crossbows. If you haven't been I suggest you contact them to get booked in. Amazing site, amazing people and we now have some more amazing memories ❤️

This is a wonderful place for kids (and adults!) to learn, meet new friends and experience new activities in the fresh air of the beautiful forest. I absolutely love going with my son to the home education groups and the activities are so interesting, I always want to join in!! Clare and Kai are brilliant with the kids. They are highly trained and qualified in bushcraft, fully inclusive and also teach first aid. My son met a friend there who used a wheelchair and all the kids helped him get around the forest and do everything they all did. It was so lovely to watch. Clare and Kai ensure safety always comes first with the tools, the activities and the environment which makes for a very safe experience. This is one of the best groups around for children of all abilities and I absolutely recommend children and adults try their courses!
