I love this place, once they're used to you the locals are happy to throw witty abuse at you expecting to get the same in return. The beer is excellent and most Thursdays you can watch the Aunt Sally tournaments. They DO NOT do food, which keeps the yuppies away. Wide selection of rare bottled beers alongside the decent draft ales.

Steve is the best landlord and he even supports Wales in the rugby! Great beer and a warm welcome awaits you in this old Cotswold pub.

Good real ale pub with four beers. I drank Broadtown Bobby's Tipple 4.2. Excellent beer quality. Highly recommended

If you're looking for a proper boozer, look no further. No food (other than snacks) but a great atmosphere. The characterful landlord always offers a high-quality insult. Good Beer Guide (2023) pub.
