The guys are great in store, but just never order anything from them for delivery. It wont arrive the day they say and then you will get some BS excuse when you chase it O sorry the driver didn't make it round to all his deliveries" It seems your drivers never makes it to any as that has been the case on nearly every delivery order that has been placed. Really just don't say you do deliveries stick to the counter service and collection which you do very well. The number of jobs we have had to postpone because of the poor delivery service. The real irony this time is when we ordered we said

Have a good repore​ with staff and manager, been using them for years. Good banter! Can't give them 5 stars, gotta keep them on their toes!

Never used this firm before but extremely glad we did. Very helpful team, interacted with four different people and they were all equally friendly and focused on meeting our needs. Great customer service! Great price too for the product we needed, especially considering it was a small order so probably not their focus for competitiveness. What a great company! Highly recommend.

Staff are very friendly and they have what I need.

I have had an account at covers for over 10 years and usually use the Burgess Hill depot and have always had great service but as I was out of their area I chose to use Horsham depot. Expecting a mid morning delivery that didnt materialise, a number of phone calls later, fobbed off with hes just left, hes on his way, with you shortly, will call you back which never happened. No explanation or apology. 5pm it arrived. Total waste of day and I paid the labourer a days money to sit on his phone. I have a large job in the area shortly and they wont be getting it.

I used to use one stop year's ago but due to my work location started using Guildford based merchants However I popped into the Horsham branch and picked up some timber price a bit high but the quality was pretty good and the staff were helpful So opened up a cash account hoping to get a good deal on my next orders. I place a order for some 10mm shingle, price was competitive but then slapped with a delivery charge. I never get charged for delivery at D W Nyes but they quality is poor. Ok let's give it a go. Lorry arrives with 20mm shingle, not a great start baring in mind it's Friday and the shingle was needed to tidy up a customer's drive at the end of the job . After a few phone calls I managed to get a replacement order but it didn't arrive until 5.00pm. Now I have a very grumpy labourer and a not so happy customer . Sometimes it's better the devil you know. All I wanted was a good service and a good price as we all do . Maybe I'm just unlucky. Might give them another go, not sure as may day was turned into a stressful one, and it's sunny... For once ! I can't say they are like this always as it was my first order so I have only given feed back on today's experience.
