Such a stunning place. So glad we visited it before it closes in November. Staff were great and answered any questions we had.

Pollok House
It is one of the greatest places in Pollok, a great house with fabulous gardens. The view is amazing. There are many seats around the house, so just set and chill and enjoy the great view. You can see the house from outside, the gardens and all other outside facilities for free. However, to see the house from inside, you need a ticket. And you can buy them upon arrival. I couldn't enter the house from inside because my phone was not charged, and it was about to switch off. There will be more photos for the next visit.Highly recommended.

Pollok House is an NTS property situated close to the Burrell Collection. It is a splendid house with downstairs open for viewing during our visit. Parking is free for Trust members or £10 for all day, £5 for four hours plus app add on of 40p. Access for cars has been recently changed (in 2023), and cars can no longer travel through the park from the Burrell to Pollok House. There is no free parking at the Burrell for Trust members. The gardens are lovely to stroll around but some looked very weedy and overgrown and other parts needed restoration back to their former glory. There are dozens of substantial park benches to enjoy the peace of the place. The river flows past and there are many wooded walks with many modern benches to take a wee rest. It's definitely worth a visit.

Pollok House
Stunning architecture with extraordinary interiors and beautiful gardens. I'm surprised this place isn't more popular among locals and tourists — it's a must-visit for anyone in Glasgow. The only letdowns would be the peeling paint inside, the disappointing second floor (what presumably used to be the sleeping quarters, but is now an uninteresting gallery) and the insufficiently presented servants floor.Nonetheless, a wonderful sight, especially with highland cattle on its doorstep.

I have visited Pollok House all my life. It is absolutely stunning! Amazing artwork and wonderful staff. It is a huge pity that the National Trust for Scotland will not be involved again. I believe the house will be closed for sometime.
