Excellent place to visit. Not a lot there anymore but the guides on site help bring the place to life again and very knowledgeable on the history of the ruins. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look and great cafe by the entrance carpark.

Stunning park, the deer are so confident that they walk up close even though I had my dog with me.Stunning views as well perfect location for quiet walks, family fun or catching up on your history with the monuments.

Always love visiting this place. Full of history. Amazing to think its the 10th most visited park in the uk. Plenty of parking . Always head for a hot or cold drink at the barn cafe

Lovely place to visit. I absolutely love history, so having this on the doorstep is fabulous. Such a beautiful park and to see the deer so relaxed with humans everywhere is niceThey are well protected, and their areas are their own.

Fabulous! Such an interesting piece if history and archaeology! Check before going as to whether the ruins are open or not but don't always trust the Internet as sometimes it says the ruins are closed when they are in fact open! You can usually count on them being open at weekends in spring and summer! There are some fabulous informative volunteer guides who are happy to answer questions. Tricky terrain for wheelchairs but pushchairs would be fine!

Beautiful park with interesting walks. The ruins of Lady Jane Grey's family home are virtually in the middle of the park surrounded by oak trees and sweeping landscapes. A great day out for a long rambling walk. Dogs are welcome but need to be kept on a lead as there are deer roaming free throughout the park. If you are in the mood for an energetic walk, take the route up to Old John". From here there are spectacular views of Leicestershire. Well worth a visit."

While visiting Bradgate Park we visited Bradgate House which was very interesting and educational too. We where warmly welcomed at the gates , entry is free , and we explored freely around ruins and grounds . Chapel was beautiful and we got more info about Greys family and Lady Jane Grey who was Queen for only 9 days. Very interesting part of heritage and history of Lancashire . Would definitely recommend visit. On side of house is Garden that is open 12-3pm on Sundays and public can go in and pick some tomatoes etc we where late so didn’t go in.
