Bao Bun Brighton
Loved this little place! We ordered the beef platter for 2 and some kombucha. The bao and the gyoza were incredible! So tasty! The garlic chips were a bit too dry so not a fan but all in all we loved the place!Fast and friendly service and dog friendly too! Great!

Like others that ordered the Bhudda Bowl we were very disappointed. It was supposed to be steamed rice with crispy chicken...rice had been boiled to muck and the chicken was brown and soft. Portion was huge but no good if it is awful. I should have been brave and said something but I didn't have it in me as the service was great. I definitely won't be back I'm afraid.

I've never had worse Bao than this. Poor quality inedible meat. Very slow service and the place is absolutely uncomfortable, tables small and very close together. There is no space for bag, jacket, you struggle to move your elbows to eat. No pleasure at all.

Lovely atmosphere to sit out on the street and people watch. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful bao buns, we had duck and squid, Lovely crispy yet soft chips and amazing teas! I recommend the lemon, honey and yuzu tea!

The food was shockingly bad here for the fact it’s right in the middle of town! I ordered the vegan bao bun which was raw plain tofu, with cubes of plain aubergine mixed in with what tasted like normal sriracha mayo. The side slaw was brown and very sad/plain looking I didn’t try it. The service was incredibly fast and friendly but I was the only person in there. I was totally ripped off, don’t eat here.

Lovey location and friendly staff but the food was terrible! We ordered the vegan “Buddha bowl” for £11. We got a bowl of bland white rice and 3 pieces of unseasoned tofu. Complete with 1 piece of lettuce and 1 slice of pepper. This isn’t a Buddha bowl - it’s rice, with no flavour. So disappointing considering how many amazing places there are to eat in brighton.

Not fast, not big, but really tasty. And one of the best seats in town if you have the chance to sit outside.

Great location however the food was disappointing. Awful taste & poor quality and didn’t appear / taste fresh. Service was friendly but we were the only people in there. We both left feeling very disappointed and hungry due to leaving most of it.
