I must have visited this social club 30+ times in my life and it has been part of my local area (sawley)much longer.A fantastic stage and function room for 200 people..welcoming even to non members. It also has pool and a nice snooker table. The only thing that turns me off is the lack of a strong real ale. But that's a personal thing.

We nip in now and then for a few pints and games of snooker. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the drinks reasonably-priced. The only reason I have knocked a star off is because they don't serve Bass! There's an illuminated sign and a swinging sight outside which both advertsie it giving hope, but alas... there is no Bass hand pump waiting inside :(

Nice venue, good amount of space for a disco, buffet, dance floor and seating. Large carpark at rear of the venue. The only thing it's lacking is a nice garden space. They do have some picnic tables at the front of the venue that are just off the main road. But it would be nice if there was a small area at the rear to sit and drink. Lovely staff and good bar selection.

Excellent place for playing Snooker or Pool, cheap prices and both the Lager and Bitter were nice pints, It was a Thursday night and apart from the Pool Match the place was really quiet.
