The worst doctors I have ever been a patient to. Can never get appointments and the phone just rings and rings not sure what on earth the receptionist are doing. Will be looking to change ASAP.

Very disappointing service. Staff are friendly enough, but the roulette wheel approach to appointment availability is laughable. The website has a lovely link to booking appointments in advance, but the practice doesn’t actually offer this service.

Had more appointments at ponteland Road walk in than at my own gp surgery. Apparently you can't book an appointment in advance as you have to ring at 8 every day, nhs app won't allow me to book on line yet by 8.07 every single appointment for the day ahead is gone.Out of my last 6-7 required appointments, 5 have been at the walk in centre 20 minutes away.Stop taking on new patients, you clearly can't cope

Recently registered with this health centre after moving into the area. I was worried changing GPs as my daughter has regular medication and is being treated by a specialist at the QE and wasn't sure a new doctor would fully understand what she'd gone through. How wrong I was! I couldn't recommend the health centre enough after my first visit. We met with Dr Haskins. She knew both my children's' background and couldn't have been more receptive and friendly to both me and my young children. Definitely made me feel reassured and I know we're going to be looked after.

I can't praise every single member of staff more they have been nothing short of amazing for my Mam who has now recently passed i am her Son and was LPA and next of kin. From my mam having to move into Bowmont House Great Park and the 4 years or so she was there to having to move into Brunswick House Brunswick village from August 2021 until 11th April 2023 they have been nothing but amazing. First contact after receptionist was Dr Scott spoke to him on many occasions and other Doctors including secretaries and of course receptionists the entire team of staff have been worth there weight in gold not only for my mam but for myself having to deal with anything to do with mam. They always got an answer for something for me if not straightaway they always got back to me. They're the best surgery i have had the pleasure of dealing with second to none, i thought my Mams initial doctors were good they are at least ten times better and at least fifty times better than my own. So credit where credit is due what a fantastic team of people. The atmosphere i can imagine there must be amazing and that will no doubt come from the top. Your a credit to your community and the NHS.Thank You all so muchSteve Carrick

Where to start, last year after changing my medication for my mental health I was massively struggling with suicidal urges. I repeatedly rang for an appointment explaining how I was struggling at the time, just to be told call back tomorrow at 8 every time. This year after a trip to A&E I was told to call my GP to get a referral, would they give me one no. I had to jump through hoops first needing a telephone appointment and then a face to face appointment, where the doctor spent 20 minutes looking for a reflex hammer (despite my reflexes being fine and checked the week before. Eventually after repeatedly chasing a referral was sent, however there's mistakes on it. Today Ive just called the hospital and been told my referral has been cancelled and to speak to my gp. They also still won't allow you to book appointments in advanced and very rarely allow face to face appointments. Its really no wonder the NHS is bursting at the seems

I am a daughter who is supporting the health of my 93 yr old mum from a distance. The kindness and responsiveness of the Reception and GP has been terrific and a special mention to the community paramedic who has visited mum on a number of occasions. My dad was also under their care during the pandemic and the support was equally good. It’s really difficult to support from a distance but I have appreciated every effort made by all the staff I have encountered, to enable me to so. Thank you to your skilled and compassionate team.

The Doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants themselves are lovely and so caring, especially dr Rhodes, but why do the receptionists have to be so unhelpful and mean? People who ring the doctors are in need of help and support, if you’re not able to be compassionate maybe you should look for a new job.
