Ignorant.Need to train staff that Scottish money is legal tender and that it is part of the UK!We live in Scotland so surprisingly we have Scottish notes when we come south. To be told they couldn’t take our money is ignorant.GLAD moved from the area!Hope they don’t go to Scotland they might be refused too!

My 'go to' lunch destination! Wonderful friendly staff who make your order up as you stand there, you couldn't get fresher and it means you can have what you like made up how you like it! Huge selection to choose from including rolls, baguettes, wraps, sandwiches (choice of white or brown), jacket potatoes, salads and hot snacks such as sausage rolls and pasties. All food is freshly prepared using quality ingredients. The price is very reasonable and the ladies certainly don't skimp on portion sizes. Due to their enviable reputation they have a very loyal following.

Really home made and fresh food, promptly served and very friendly staff. We had brunch there and would definitely visit again. Good value for money too.

I have lunch at least once a week. It is conveniently close to the railway station. I get on well with the people who run it. It is also a pleasant place and vehicles passing on the road are not a problem. It would be nice to have more things on the menu to choose from but it is a small cafe and open only until early afternoon so that might not be practicable.

Found the staff to be very rude and miserable, also not once did I see either female wash their hands or use gloves when preparing my food. Had a wasted lunch. Maybe some retraining on manners, hygiene and customer service may bump your ratings up.

Amazing friendly service. Freshly cooked food. Tastes amazing. Highly recommend for a chilled meet up with friends.

Rude and obnoxious! Would not recommend - the way we were treated in this cafe would suggest the old lady, running the place, had more money than sense because she clearly did not want our custom.

This was our 1st visit. The interior looked clean and welcoming, however the food was very disappointing. I had a prawn wrap, which was dripping with water and tasteless. My friend had a sausage roll which he said was very cheap and tasteless. We won't be returning when there are so many other coffee houses like Samova just across the road.
