Anglers Arms
One of the best places for Sunday lunch been this place twice for Sunday lunch and it's very good value for money and it's a very good portion size. The roast beef was to die for and my partner and father had half a roast chicken that's they both enjoyed. It's nice to walk into a very friendly pub with great staff. Am so lucky to have this pub on my door step.

Came here for a quick lunch and had a great experience. Good food. Close to a steam train station, very nice atmosphere and food look and taste fantastic (even though we only had a small selection of it).

Great cosy pub with absolutely delicious food. We had chicken Sunday roast and Romanian mici dish and a side of salt&pepper chips. Delicious, massive portions, great value for money. For dessert we had homemade tiramisu which tasted great also. Dog friendly place, our dog didn’t stop getting treats the whole time we were there which was great. Very attentive snd friendly staff.

Lovely warm and fun welcome. A fair selection of mostly typical pub grub at fairly typical prices but the food was better than typical pub food. The soup of the day - on this occasion cream of celery and ginger soup was very possibly the nicest soup I've had anywhere ever and the steak and ale pie was very tasty in good firm, not soggy, pastry. I'd recommend a visit here.

Monday night food was great. Their special was a roast beef dinner which was magnificent especially with the cauliflower cheese. Would really recommend thoroughly enjoyed it.

Perfect dinner spot for small and large parties. Menu variety suits multiple diets. Service couldn’t be better. Can get busy so best to book in advance to guarantee a table.

Just had a beautiful lunch here. Arrived on a grey Monday lunch & it was quiet so worried food might not be as good/fresh as other reviews said (often the case when you go somewhere out of peak times). Didn’t need to worry as it was very very good quality & very fresh. Even our child’s bangers & mash was excellent & clearly homemade. Thank you!
